Chapter 173: Made New Friends

“Where are we?” An Nuan asked as they reached their location. Looking around, An Nuan figured that they had reached someone else’s house.

Lin Xiao Feng said that they were going to meet Zhang Yu Han and a few other friends.

She wondered if Zhang Yu Han had a house in Capital City as well.

“This is Yu Han’s friend’s place,” Lin Xiao Feng said. “Yu Han said, you have met his friend and his wife before. It’s Lu Xun and his wife, Song Xing Xing.”

The light in An Nuan’s eyes lit up. She remembered the couple well.

The last time she came to Capital City with Ren Di, Zhang Yu Han had taken her to join his friend at a party. She met quite a few people before she left and met Pei Zhi Yi’s lunatic sister.

“Come on.” Lin Xiao Feng alighted from the car before going to An Nuan’s side to help her.

An Nuan watched as Lin Xiao Feng carried out a few paper bags from the trunk. It seemed that he had prepared some gifts for Zhang Yu Han’s friends.

Looking at him, An Nuan realized that Lin Xiao Feng can be quite meticulous. The last time they visited the mayor and his wife, Lin Xiao Feng had prepared some gifts for them as well.

Meanwhile, she had never considered these things.

Previously, when she went to any social gathering with her mother, she never had to consider anything. Meanwhile, the people in F Country did not have such a tradition of bringing gifts to others.

An Nuan felt that there were a lot of things for her to learn.

Holding hands, the couple walked to the door together.

An Nuan felt that it was strange to hold hands with Lin Xiao Feng, especially after knowing his feelings for her. However, An Nuan decided not to say anything, thinking that they still had to put on a show in front of Lin Xiao Feng’s friends.

Lin Xiao Feng pressed the doorbell and a middle-aged woman invited them in. They were led to a room where Zhang Yu Han and the others were waiting for them.

An Nuan looked into the room and saw a few figures that she recognized.

“Xiao Feng, you are here. I thought you had changed your mind,” Zhang Yu Han said as he walked to his friend. He glanced at An Nuan and gave her a polite nod as a greeting.

Just then, Lu Xun walked over while carrying a fat, grey cat in his arms.

The cat gave the newcomers a glance before he lay his head on Lu Xun’s shoulder, ignoring everything else.

“Xiao Feng, come on in,” Lu Xun said. “An Yu and the others are inside, playing games.” He shifted his gaze to An Nuan and realized that it was a face that he had seen before. “This…”

“You have met her before at Celine’s fashion show,” Zhang Yu Han said. “Lu Xun, this is Xiao Feng’s wife, An Nuan.”

It did not take Lu Xun a long time to remember that he had met An Nuan at the party. “Then, it’s Mrs. Lin. Welcome to my place.” Lu Xun turned around and waved a hand to his wife. He held his wife’s waist and drew her closer to him. “Xing Xing, you remember Xiao Feng’s wife.”

“Hello. Sister An Nuan.” Song Xing Xing smiled at An Nuan before turning to Lin Xiao Feng, “Brother Xiao Feng. It has been a while since you came over.”

An Nuan watched their exchange in silence.

Then, Lin Xiao Feng turned to An Nuan again and explained. “Xing Xing’s father and my mother are cousins.”

Song Xing Xing’s grandfather was the head of the Song family. Previously, the old man had come to visit him at his place when he married An Nuan.

His mother called the old man, hoping that he would be able to say a few words to his grandfather so that he would not get angry.

An Nuan looked at Song Xing Xing again and realized that the woman looked quite similar to her mother-in-law. She had met Song Xing Xing a few times before but this was the first time she learned that Lin Xiao Feng and Song Xing Xing were related.

After exchanging a few more words, Song Xing Xing led An Nuan further into the room where Li Qin Yao was seen talking with another woman.

When Lin Xiao Feng said that it was a small gathering, An Nuan did not think that she would be meeting a lot of people.

“An Nuan.” Li Qin Yao waved her hand when she saw her. “It’s good to see you again. Come. Let me introduce you to my friend.” She held An Nuan’s hand and smiled. “An Nuan, this is Han Yue Xiu. Yue Xiu, An Nuan.”

An Nuan exchanged polite greetings with Han Yue Xiu.

“Sister An Nuan, since you are familiar with my grandfather, you should know Sister Yue Xiu’s husband as well,” Song Xing Xing said. “He’s also my elder cousin, Song Yi.”

An Nuan looked at the girls in surprise. She was aware that Lin Xiao Feng and Song Yi are related. However, this was the first time she met Song Yi’s wife.

Besides Song Xing Xing, the other girls were around the same age.

It was not hard for An Nuan to get along with everyone else. Just like that, she made new friends.

Han Yue Xiu had an easygoing personality. Hearing that An Nuan was now staying in Capital City, Han Yue Xiu invited An Nuan to hang out with her and Song Xing Xing next time.

A new horror movie came out in theatres a few days ago. As a horror movie fan, Han Yue Xiu wanted to watch the movie.

An Nuan readily agreed. It seems that it has been a while since the last time she hung out with girls around her age.

Accompanying Madam Jiang to the charity dinner was alright. However, An Nuan was not really a fan of going to such an event.

She thought that going to watch a movie with Han Yue Xiu would be interesting.
