“Mmm… It’s fine.”

“Seeing that you showed up here with An Nuan, I’m guessing that she did not reject you as much as you thought she would.”

The light in Lin Xiao Feng’s eyes lit up when he heard Zhang Yu Han’s words. “You think so?”

“Otherwise, she would come up with an excuse not to attend the gathering with you. An Nuan… She would do everything to keep a distance from you.”

Those were exactly what Lin Xiao Feng felt as well and listening to Zhang Yu Han’s words gave him a sense of relief.

“Xiao Feng, it seems like you have a glimpse of hope,” Zhang Yu Han continued. “You just have to work harder.”

Lin Xiao Feng heaved a breath. He also knew that he had to work harder. It’s just that… He was not planning to tell An Nuan earlier about his feelings. Feng An Yu and Song Yi walked over after playing games and happened to hear bits of their conversation.

Song Yi had heard a bit from Zhang Yu Han about Lin Xiao Feng’s situation. He glanced at An Nuan who was chatting with his wife and patted Lin Xiao Feng’s shoulder. “Lin Xiao Feng, when did you turn into a worrywart?”

Feng An Yu clicked his tongue. “He is always like this when it comes to An Nuan. I just don’t get it. If you like someone, just say it out loud. Now that you have said it out loud, just work hard on winning her approval. Why worry when you haven’t worked hard on it?”

Lin Xiao Feng shot Feng An Yu with a murderous gaze.

Then, Feng An Yu realized that he had said too much when Zhang Yu Han sent him a warning gaze.
