An Nuan pursed her lips and looked away.

“Lin Xiao Feng, I haven’t decided…”

The light in Lin Xiao Feng’s eyes dimmed slightly. He knew well that An Nuan was talking about his confession. “I know.”

“Alright.” Lin Xiao Feng did not have any complaints.

The couple began to walk back to their home.

Lin Xiao Feng looked at the person next to him and smiled.

An Nuan crossed her arms on her chest while pulling his jacket closer to her body. Because of that, Lin Xiao Feng did not have the chance to hold An Nuan’s hand while walking.

He was a bit disappointed but understood that An Nuan might need some space to compose her thoughts.

Finally, they reached their home.

The couple remained quiet as they headed upstairs.

Lin Xiao Feng walked An Nuan to her room. Then, as he saw her pushing her door, Lin Xiao Feng began to hesitate.

“An Nuan.”

Lin Xiao Feng’s call made An Nuan turn around again. Before she could say a word, An Nuan suddenly felt her body wrapped in Lin Xiao Feng’s warm embrace.

His movement was too sudden, throwing her off her guard, and making her freeze.

Lin Xiao Feng’s hug did not last for too long. He pulled away again before he started to play with a few strands of her hair. “Good night.” He reached to touch the top of her head. “Just look for me if you need anything.”
