Feng An Yu returned to Lin Xiao Feng’s office half an hour later.

By the time Feng An Yu returned, Lin Xiao Feng already finished looking at the documents that Feng An Yu wanted him to see,

“Took you so long to return.” Lin Xiao Feng chuckled as Feng An Yu sat on the sofa next to him. “Something happened to Ning Wei?”

“No. That kid was asking me all sorts of strange questions,” Feng An Yu said. “Ning Wei was shooting a TV program. The host made him call me to see if I would pick up his phone call.”

Lin Xiao Feng raised a brow. “You went away that long for a TV program interview?”

Knowing Feng An Yu, he should not have that kind of patience to entertain a TV program or an interview. Seeing Feng An Yu disappear for half an hour was indeed strange.

Feng An Yu scoffed. “The host was asking me a few questions about Ning Wei. Of course, I have to answer.”

A faint smile appeared on Lin Xiao Feng’s lips. He had a feeling that whatever question the host asked should be something that gave Ning Wei some disadvantage.

Otherwise, Feng An Yu would not be having such fun answering the questions.

Lin Xiao Feng pitied Ning Wei at this moment.

In the future, perhaps Ning Wei would rethink his decision to hang out with Feng An Yu again.

Feng An Yu liked bullying people too much.

“Are you done with the documents?” Feng An Yu asked as he picked up a stack of papers on the coffee table.

“It’s done. I wrote some notes on the sticky note for your reference,” Lin Xiao Feng said. “After some correction, there won’t be any problem. You can submit the documents.”

“Thank you.” Feng An Yu shot a grateful smile to Lin Xiao Feng.

He sat on the sofa while browsing through the notes that Lin Xiao Feng had made for him.

Knock! Knock!

The knocking on the door made them both look up.

“Come on in,” Lin Xiao Feng said.

The door was pushed open and Secretary Shi walked into the room with a tray in her hand. As soon as she walked in, the scent of coffee wafted into the room.

“Mr. Lin.” Secretary Shi flashed a smile. “Your coffee.”

Lin Xiao Feng nodded before motioning towards his desk. “Just put it on my desk. I’ll drink it later.”

“Alright.” Secretary Shi walked further into the room to send the coffee to her boss’s desk. Then, she returned to the front and her eyes landed on Feng An Yu. “Mr. Feng, would you like some coffee as well?”

When Lin Xiao Feng asked her to make him some coffee, Feng An Yu stepped out of the office to answer a phone call. Secretary Shi did not have the chance to ask if Feng An Yu would like anything to drink.

Feng An Yu looked up from his documents and flashed a smile that did not reach his eyes. “No. I’m afraid that my coffee would be bitter compared to Mr. Lin’s.”

“Ah?” Secretary Shi looked confused.

Lin Xiao Feng heaved a sigh. “Secretary Shi, you can leave now.” Before Feng An Yu says anything unpleasant, it would be best to let his secretary leave.

Secretary Shi hesitated briefly before she finally left the office.

“You should be careful about that secretary of yours,” Feng An Yu said. “I think she harbored some impure intentions towards you.”

“An Nuan said the same thing.”

Feng An Yu nodded. “An Nuan is a smart woman. You should listen to her more.” There was a hint of approval in his eyes.

Lin Xiao Feng raised a brow. “I think Secretary Shi knows her limit. I don’t have to worry about her.”

Feng An Yu scoffed. “Xiao Feng, you are silly.”

Lin Xiao Feng rubbed the space between his brows. Recently, too many people called him silly.

“I almost forgot,” Feng An Yu continued. “You only have your eyes on An Nuan. Sometimes, you fail to see what’s in front of you.”

Lin Xiao Feng felt that Feng An Yu was going to nag him again. “I know. I will be careful.”

Feng An Yu heaved a long sigh. After looking at his documents for a while, Feng An Yu finally gathered his belongings and stuffed them into his bag. “I should go now.”

Lin Xiao Feng looked surprised. “This soon?”

“I still have a lot of things to do.”

“Why don’t you come over to my place? Let’s have dinner together.”

“It’s alright. I don’t want to disturb you and An Nuan,” Feng An Yu said. “You still have a lot to do to win An Nuan over. Lin Xiao Feng, work hard!”

Lin Xiao Feng suppressed the urge to roll his eyes at his friend.

Feng An Yu walked to the door. His steps halted as something came to his mind. Feng An Yu turned to Lin Xiao Feng again and asked, “You are coming to Qi Zheng’s wedding banquet, right?”

“I’m going.” Lin Xiao Feng nodded. “Qi Zheng reminded me about his wedding banquet every few days. Of course, I’ll have to go. You?”

Feng An Yu sighed. “My mother would nag me if I did not go to his wedding. Besides, Qi Zheng’s wife isn’t that bad.”

Initially, Feng An Yu was against Qi Zheng’s marriage as he did not want someone to take advantage of Qi Zheng.

Anyway, anyone who would be willing to marry a stranger should not be a good person.

However after getting to know Qi Zheng’s wife, Feng An Yu thought that Yun Shu was not a bad person.

“An Nuan and I are going to D Town to take some wedding photos,” Lin Xiao Feng continued. “We will head to Y City from D Town.”

Feng An Yu smiled. He could tell that Lin Xiao Feng was looking forward to his wedding photoshoot with An Nuan. “Then, I guess I will see you and An Nuan again in Y City soon.”

After saying a few more words, Feng An Yu finally left.

Lin Xiao Feng walked to his desk again, wanting to continue his work. He picked up the mug of coffee that Secretary Shi had prepared for him. However, Feng An Yu’s reminder about his secretary made him stop himself.

Suddenly, Lin Xiao Feng was no longer in the mood to drink his coffee.
