After leaving his office, Lin Xiao Feng stopped by a cafe in the city center before he went home.

As he walked into the se, Lin Xiao Feng could see that An Nuan was seated in the living room with some documents scattered on the coffee table. The television was turned on. It seemed that An Nuan was enjoying some show on the television while working on her documents.

Hearing the sound of his footsteps, An Nuan looked up and smiled until her eyes turned crescent. “Lin Xiao Feng, you’re back.”

An Nuan guessed that Lin Xiao Feng had stopped by a cafe nearby and bought some pastries for her.

A faint blush appeared on her face. “Why did you suddenly buy some pastries this time?”

“To congratulate you,” Lin Xiao Feng said. “Since we are celebrating, of course, we should have some cakes.” He motioned towards the paper bag. “Go on and have a taste. See if it is to your liking.”

An Nuan took out the box from the paper bag. She opened the box slowly and saw a few small cakes inside the box.
