The sound of footsteps made An Nuan turn her head. Her eyes met with Lin Xiao Feng’s briefly before An Nuan turned to look at the television again.

“What are you doing down here?” Lin Xiao Feng asked. He stood beside the sofa and followed An Nuan’s line of gaze. His brow furrowed slightly when he recognized the young man who often hung around Feng An Yu.

“I still have a few documents to look at,” An Nuan said.

Lin Xiao Feng tore his eyes away from the television. “An Nuan, you know that you can use the office..”

“I know.” An Nuan nodded. “But I’m too lazy to bring up the documents upstairs. Besides, I can watch television at the same time.”

The laughter coming from the television made them both look up again.

Lin Xiao Feng saw the scene where Ning Wei was trying to explain his action earlier. The more he tried to explain, the more that the people around him would laugh. Lin Xiao Feng wondered if Feng An Yu would watch a show like this for his younger brother.

“Is the show fun?” Lin Xiao Feng asked.

Lin Xiao Feng’s eyes darkened as he looked at Ning Wei. He was not happy to hear that his wife had her eyes on some other man.

“He helped me to promote my jewelry before,” An Nuan continued. “I think I should support his work in exchange.”

Lin Xiao Feng gradually calmed down once he heard An Nuan’s words.

He looked at An Nuan, wanting to say something. However, his movement halted as his gaze fell on something that he should not look at.

An Nuan’s pyjamas were very modest. Right now, she was sitting on the carpeted floor while he was standing up behind the sofa. Their position allowed Lin Xiao Feng to see what’s underneath An Nuan’s pajamas.

The dark purple lingerie was too glaring.

Lin Xiao Feng swallowed. The heat spread through his body and traveled up to his head. Lin Xiao Feng forced himself to look away before he would get a nosebleed.

“Lin Xiao Feng, why did you come down?” An Nuan looked at Lin Xiao Feng inquiringly when she noticed that he did not have the intention to leave.

He let out a cough while hoping that An Nuan was not going to notice anything. “I’m going to get some water,” Lin Xiao Feng said.

His voice was a bit hoarse. Fortunately, An Nuan did not think too much.

Lin Xiao Feng turned to the kitchen to drink a glass of cold water. He stayed in the kitchen for a while, to calm down.

A few minutes later, he returned to the living room again. Lin Xiao Feng saw that An Nuan was still browsing through some documents while watching television.

He would like to stay with An Nuan. However, Lin Xiao Feng was worried that he would get distracted the more he stayed.

“I’m going upstairs,” Lin Xiao Feng announced. “An Nuan, I know that you are busy with work. But you should go to bed earlier.”

“Mhm…” An Nuan nodded. “I know. Don’t worry. I’ll head to bed after sorting out these documents.”

Lin Xiao Feng gave An Nuan one last look before he turned around and headed upstairs.
