Once Lin Xiao Feng left with the elders’ belongings, An Nuan turned to her parents again. “Mom, Dad, how was your trip to S Country? Did you have a lot of fun?” An Nuan took a proper look at her mother’s face. “Mom, you look like you are getting prettier.”

“What nonsense are you talking about?” Shi Xi chuckled. She pretended to scold her daughter. But Shi Xi was definitely happy to hear her daughter’s sweet words.

“It’s true. I think you and Dad really went to S Country to play.”

Shi Xi exchanged a look with her husband and smiled. “Well, it has been a while since your dad and I took a break. Nuan Nuan, you also know that your father has been working hard at the company. An Nuan led her parents to sit on the sofa. Her eyes then fell on the documents scattered on the coffee table. She then realized that it was too messy. An Nuan quickly went to tidy up the table.

“How is your company so far?” An Qi asked. “Is it alright?” An Qi took the documents from her daughter. “Do you need my help? Nuan Nuan, you could tell me anything. Dad will help you.”

Hearing that her daughter was starting up a new business on her own made An Qi excited.

He wanted to do his best to help his daughter.

As someone who has been in the business world for years, An Qi had a lot of things he wanted to teach his daughter.

“Dad, I don’t need you to help me for now,” An Nuan said. “Lin Xiao Feng had done everything for me. These days, he let me borrow his assistant and let him guide me through everything. From setting up a company and hiring my first staff, that assistant has helped me a lot.”

“That’s good.” An Qi’s expression did not show that he was too happy.

He was hoping that he could assist his daughter and show her how capable he was. Unexpectedly, his son-in-law had done everything. Father An was disappointed that he could not show off in front of his daughter.

Still, that did not stop him from going through the documents. He wanted to ensure that everything was perfect for her daughter.

Shi Xi held her daughter’s hand. “Nuan Nuan, how are you living here?”

“Mom, I’m fine.” An Nuan had a helpless look on her face. “it’s just moving from one city to another. It’s not that difficult.” An Nuan tried to smile to ease her mother’s feelings. “Lin Xiao Feng is here with me and recently, I have made a few friends.”

Shi Xi wanted to say more. However, she knew well that her daughter did not want them to worry too much. She was more curious to know about her daughter’s relationship with Lin Xiao Feng. However, Shi Xi thought that it was not suitable to ask An Nuan with her husband around.

This time, they were going to stay in Capital City for a few days.

An Nuan chatted with her parents for a while. Then, she took them for a tour around the house.

The house where An Nuan was living was smaller compared to her parent’s place in Y City. However, it was perfect for An Nuan and Lin Xiao Feng to live in.

An Nuan led her parents to the guest’s room to rest. Then, she headed to Lin Xiao Feng’s room and hesitated.

Taking a deep breath, An Nuan knocked on the door.

After waiting for a few seconds, Lin Xiao Feng finally appeared at the door.

The man was draped in his bathrobe and the end of his hair was still wet.

It seemed as if he had just gotten out of the shower a while ago.

An Nuan opened her mouth to say something. However, the words she wanted to say were stuck in her mouth when her gaze fell on Lin Xiao Feng’s abs.

He might have tried to wear his bathrobe properly. But An Nuan could still see bits of his flesh under the bathrobe.

Suddenly, the words that she wanted to say disappeared from her mind.

Her brain was telling herself to look away but her eyes refused to cooperate.

She wondered how his body would look under that bathrobe.

Once that thought came to his mind, An Nuan quickly snapped out of her senses.

Lin Xiao Feng had not done anything to her but her heart was beating fast just by looking at him.

She should stop behaving like this.

Now, she was too embarrassed to face Lin Xiao Feng.

“An Nuan?”

Lin Xiao Feng’s voice made An Nuan look up.

A faint of pink appeared on her cheeks. An Nuan hoped that Lin Xiao Feng would not notice that she was staring.

An Nuan let out a cough. ” It’s nothing. I just realized that I haven’t had the chance to thank you for bringing my parents over.”

Lin Xiao Feng’s eyes softened. He did not expect that An Nuan would come over to thank him. “You’re welcome.” Seeing the light in An Nuan’s eyes when she saw her parents was enough to make him happy. “I hope you like the surprise.”

An Nuan was relieved upon seeing that Lin Xiao Feng hadn’t noticed that she was staring earlier.

“Hmm…” An Nuan nodded. “I like it very much.”

“That’s good.” Lin Xiao Feng stretched his hand and patted An Nuan on the head softly. “I’m glad that you like it.”

“I sent my parents to the guest’s room,” An Nuan said. She pointed her finger to her room across the hall. “I’ll go back to my room first to get ready.” Lin Xiao Feng said that he was going to take her parents out for dinner. An Nuan wanted to get ready first before they went out.

Lin Xiao Feng nodded. “Mhm… Go ahead.”
