After resting for a bit, the couple headed out again to explore the town and have their dinner.

An Nuan could not stop looking around the town. Wherever they go, they would see the lake.

Now that she was standing too close to the water, An Nuan could see how clean the water was. She could see the fish swimming around while standing at the side.

“Should we go now?”

An Nuan turned around and saw Lin Xiao Feng standing behind her.

While he went to talk to the receptionist earlier, An Nuan decided to wait for him outside while enjoying the view.

“What took you so long?” An Nuan asked. She glanced at the hotel building and recalled the pretty woman standing behind the receptionist. That receptionist had also been eying Lin Xiao Feng before.

“I was asking about a good place for us to have dinner,” Lin Xiao Feng said. “The receptionist suggested a few places.”

“It took you that long to discuss a place to eat?”

Lin Xiao Feng laughed. He did not know what happened but An Nuan’s expression right now was too adorable. He had to suppress the urge to pinch her on the cheek.

“The receptionist also told me a few interesting things we can do around here,” Lin Xiao Feng said. “There was going to be a market tomorrow where the people would sell their fresh produce. Their cherries are the most popular ones. Maybe we should take a look tomorrow.”

“Hmm…” An Nuan nodded, satisfied with his explanation.

Lin Xiao Feng stretched his hands to tighten the coat around An Nuan’s body. “Are you hungry? Would you like to have dinner first or should we walk around the town first?”

An Nuan pondered over Lin Xiao Feng’s question. “Let’s take a walk around the lake first. Later, it would be too dark to enjoy the scenery.”

“I’ll listen to you.” Habitually, Lin Xiao Feng held An Nuan’s hand before he led her to walk around the lake.

An Nuan lowered her head and looked at their intertwining hands. Something about Lin Xiao Feng’s words just now made her heart palpitate. It made him sound like an obedient husband.

An Nuan shook that thought away from her head before her face turned warm.

She focused on looking at the view and gradually relaxed.

The sky was getting darker and the lamp along the street lit on.

An Nuan looked at her reflection on the street and saw herself and Lin Xiao Feng’s intertwined hands.

Walking with Lin Xiao Feng like this in a new place made her feel as if they were on a honeymoon trip.

“Until this day, the locals still believe that this town is still protected by a water dragon. Look at the lake water.” Lin Xiao Feng pointed at the lake water nearby. “They say, if you are lucky, you might be able to see a dragon swimming around.”

An Nuan peeked at the lake water but now that the sky had turned darker, there was not much that she could see.

Suddenly, An Nuan wondered if Lin Xiao Feng was tricking her.

Dragon is a mythical creature. How can there be a dragon swimming in the lake?

If someone did see a dragon swimming around in the lake water, this town would be long famous among researchers. No. Perhaps, the government would shut down this town for research.
