Chapter 222: A Video of Him and An Nuan

Once they descended the mountain, Lin Xiao Feng took An Nuan to have breakfast at a place that Guide Zhou Yi had recommended. Seeing that An Nuan was tired after their hike, Lin Xiao Feng decided to return to their hotel and let her rest.

The moment they reached their hotel, An Nuan took a long, hot shower and headed to bed.

Her body was aching all over, making her feel as if she was about to die.

Lin Xiao Feng decided not to disturb An Nuan while she slept.

They both planned to head out again and explore the town while having their lunch.

Lin Xiao Feng was in the middle of checking some emails when the room’s phone rang.

Worried that it might be disturbing his wife’s nap, Lin Xiao Feng quickly picked up the phone call.

It was a call from the receptionist, informing him that a guest was waiting for him in the lobby.

Thinking that the photographer or the people from the wedding studio had arrived early, Lin Xiao Feng decided to head downstairs and meet that person.

“Mr. Lin?”

An older man walked over as Lin Xiao Feng headed to the receptionist.

Lin Xiao Feng gave the man a lookover. This man was not someone from the wedding studio.

“Hello.” The man smiled politely. “I am Jiang Quan,” He stretched his hand for a handshake. “Mr. Long send me here to meet you. Actually, I came to look for you earlier but I guess you weren’t at the hotel.”

“Mr. Long?” Lin Xiao Feng wondered if this man was talking about Long Fei.

“That’s right. You should know my boss, Mr. Long Fei,” Jiang Quan continued before mentioning Long Fei’s private boat. “Mr. Lin, should we discuss the arrangement?”

Yesterday, he ran into Long Fei while having dinner with An Nuan.

Hearing that the couple were going to stay for a few days, he decided to let the Lin couple use his private boat for their convenience.

Lin Xiao Feng did not expect that Long Fei would send someone to discuss their arrangement.

Now that Long Fei had sent someone, Lin XiaoFeng really could not decline the man’s good intentions.

After a brief discussion, Lin Xiao Feng asked Jiang Quan to return to the hotel again after lunch hour. For their convenience, Lin Xiao Feng exchanged a number with the old man.

When he returned to their suite, Lin Xiao Feng was surprised to see that An Nuan was awake.

She sat in the living area while watching the television.

The sound of the door made An Nuan turn.

“Where did you go?” An Nuan asked. There was a hint of relief when she saw Lin Xiao Feng walking into the door.

She saw that Lin Xiao Feng’s bedroom door was slightly ajar when she woke up. She peeked into his room but could not see Lin Xiao Feng inside.

“I went to meet with someone downstairs,” Lin Xiao Feng said. “You remember Mr. Long from yesterday, right? The boat driver came to find me. He said he’ll take us around the lake after lunch. What do you think?”

The light in An Nuan’s eyes lit up. “Really?”

Lin Xiao Feng’s smile turned gentler. He could see that An Nuan was looking forward to their sightseeing. Most of all, Lin Xiao Feng noticed that An Nuan has been smiling more and more recently.

While she was in Y City, An Nuan often looked tired and listless whenever they were on their daily video call.

He knew that An Nuan was heartbroken from her previous relationship. Lin Xiao Feng wanted to do something to cheer her up. However, he did not know what he could do when he was too far away from her.

Lin Xiao Feng was relieved to see An Nuan being her usual cheerful self.

“It’s not that.” An Nuan rubbed the corner of her eyes. “I get excited when I think about sightseeing.”

“You seem to like this town a lot.”

An Nuan laughed. “What’s not to like about a beautiful town like this?”

Lin Xiao Feng walked over to An Nuan’s side to touch her head before quickly retracting his hand away. He liked touching An Nuan’s soft hair a lot. “If you want to look around the town, we can head out again once you are ready.” Lin Xiao Feng glanced at his wristwatch. “It is still early. We can walk around the Town’s market before having our lunch. What do you think?”

“Alright.” An Nuan stood up. “Then, I should get ready.”

Without waiting for Lin Xiao Feng to answer, An Nuan turned around and returned to her room.

A helpless smile curled on his lips as he watched An Nuan’s figure disappear behind the door.

Lin Xiao Feng was about to return to his room when his phone buzzed.

Unexpectedly, Guide Zhou Yi sent him a few texts.
