It was Su Ming Yuan who picked up Lin Xiao Feng and An Nuan at the airport.

The moment Su Ming Yuan laid his eyes on the couple, he quickly noticed that they were in a good mood. A thought came to his mind but Su Ming Yuan did not dare to voice it out as An Nuan was still around.

Su Ming Yuan drove the couple to An Nuan’s parents’ place.

He pulled over the car in front of An’s residence and alighted from the car.

Lin Xiao Feng let An Nuan enter the house first as he unloaded his luggage.

Su Ming Yuan glanced at his friend before leaning on his car. “Xiao Feng, you seemed to be in a good mood,” Su Ming Yuan commented. “Something happened in D Town?”

Lin Xiao Feng kept his composure in front of his friend. He still had not told his brothers that there was a change in his relationship with An Nuan.

“Qi Zheng’s party is today?” Lin Xiao Feng changed the subject.

Initially, the boys planned to meet a few days later. But, Qi Zheng changed the date when he heard that Lin Xiao Feng was returning to Y City on a flight.

“That’s right.” Su Ming Yuan nodded. “I already booked a room at the usual club. It’s not good to always disturb Yu Han and his wife.”

“Then, come over in the evening and pick me up,” Lin Xiao Feng said.

“She should be upstairs.” Shi Xi had a helpless look on her face. “Yi Ran took her upstairs to show off the new toys that his father bought for him. She should come down in a while. That’s right. Xiao Feng, have you eaten?”

“Hmm… I ate on the flight earlier.”

“How can the food on the flight be filling?” Shi Xi said. “Wait for a bit. Mom will prepare something for you.”

Lin Xiao Feng flashed a smile. Seeing that the helpers were going to take his luggage away, Lin Xiao Feng quickly stopped them. “Just leave my luggage there. I’m going back later.”

Shi Xi watched her son-in-law as a thought came to his mind. “Xiao Feng, why don’t you sleep over here today? You have been married to An Nuan for a while but you never spend a night over.”

Each time they were in Y City, the couple would head to their parent’s place separately.

“Are you worried that your mother would mind?” Shi Xi asked. “Don’t worry. I’ll talk to her about it. I’m sure that she would not mind.” A sigh escaped her lips as she noticed Lin Xiao Feng’s hesitation. “Mom knows about your relationship with An Nuan. You can stay in a separate room.”

“I still have to go out and meet my friends in the evening. I don’t want to disturb you.” He did not know how long his meeting with the boys would be. There was a possibility that he would return late.

Shi Xi chuckled. “Xiao Feng, you are not disturbing us. We are family. You addressed me as ‘Mom’. You should consider this house as your place as well. How about this? I will give you the password. You can come in whenever you want.”
