Lin Xiao Feng tore his eyes away from the door. It seemed that he could only see her again in the morning.

He had just turned the doorknob when Lin Xiao Feng heard the movement from the next door.

A few seconds later, An Nuan’s head popped up behind the door.

Her eyes looked especially round in the dark.

“You’re back,” An Nuan said.

“Hmm…” Lin Xiao Feng leaned on the door. Looking at the person in front of him made Lin Xiao Feng wonder if this girl has been missing him. “Are you waiting for me?”

“No.” An Nuan twisted her fingers. She was not going to admit that she was waiting for Lin Xiao Feng to come home. “I came out because I heard some noise. I did not expect that it was you.”

Lin Xiao Feng smiled. He could tell that An Nuan was lying.

This would be the first time Lin Xiao Feng stayed over at her parents’ place. An Nuan was indeed waiting for Lin Xiao Feng to get home. She was worried that he would text her and ask her to pick him up.

In the past, her father had tried to teach her a little bit but An Nuan was never interested. Her elder brother was still around and she did not want to work at the family’s company.

“Then…” An Nuan motioned to her room. “I should go to bed now. I will see you tomorrow.” An Nuan stepped into her room and was about to close the door when someone pushed her into the room.

The door behind her was closed softly.

Turning around, An Nuan found that Lin Xiao Feng was inside her room.

He was leaning on the door behind him while staring at her.

This person… What was he doing in her room?

No. The most important thing was that they are still in her parents’ place. What if someone see him entering her room.

“Then, what should we do?”

“You haven’t talked to your mother yet?”

An Nuan shook her head. “Yi Ran and my elder brother were around. I could not find a chance to talk to my mother.”

“You should talk to your mother soon.”

“I had a few drinks but I’m not drunk.” He stretched his hand and tugged on An Nuan’s wrist gently, making her fall into his embrace. “I’m not going to do anything. Just that, I want to hug you to sleep. Can I?”

An Nuan wanted to tell Lin Xiao Feng to return to his room. But her heart wavered as Lin Xiao Feng’s warm body enveloped hers.
