“Mom. Good morning, ” Lin Xiao Feng greeted his mother-in-law. His tone was polite and there was a faint smile on his face.

Lin Xiao Feng heard what An Nuan had told her mother a while ago and understood the surprise in his mother-in-law’s expression.

Shi Xi snapped out of her trance upon hearing Lin Xiao Feng’s voice. Her gaze alternated between her daughter and son-in-law.

“This…” Shi Xi laughed. “That’s right. Mom has forgotten. The two of you are already a married couple.” She turned to Lin Xiao Feng. “Mom is careless. Why would I let you sleep in the guest’s room when you should be with Nuan Nuan.”

An Nuan’s face turned a shade redder.

Lin Xiao Feng and her mother both were casual about this matter. Why was she the only one who got shy?

“Later, Mom will ask them to move your luggage to An Nuan’s room,” Shi Xi said.

Lin Xiao Feng glanced at the mother and daughter before turning to leave. Since his mother-in-law had something to say to his wife, he would give them space.

Shi Xi waited until her son-in-law had left before turning to her daughter again. “Nuan Nuan, when are you planning to talk to your mother-in-law?”

“Mom, we will talk to her soon,” An Nuan said. “Xiao Feng will talk to his parents soon.”

“That’s good.” Shi Xi nodded. “You have to remember to tell her sooner.”

An Nuan frowned. “Mom, why are you in a rush?”

“We have been waiting to hear this good news for months,” Shi Xi admitted. “Now that you and Xiao Feng are together, of course, I need someone to talk to.”

She was too excited and needed someone to share her feelings.

By now, her father should already be at the office.

An Nuan shot a look at Lin Xiao Feng. “I think you are just happy that you get to sleep in my room again tonight.”

Lin Xiao Feng laughed. “If I don’t sleep with my wife, where else I should be sleeping?”

An Nuan pursed her lips.

This person was being shameless again. An Nuan was worried that Lin Xiao Feng would say something else that would make her embarrassed.

Swiftly, An Nuan grabbed a piece of a meat bun from the table and stuffed it into Lin Xiao Feng’s mouth. “Don’t talk too much. You should eat.”

His wife had personally fed him. Of course, Lin Xiao Feng would eat the meat bun happily.

An Nuan narrowed her eyes as she watched the happy Lin Xiao Feng. Her lips curled into a mischievous smile as a thought came to her mind. “Lin Xiao Feng.”

“Didn’t you say that you are staying over for one night?” An Nuan said. “Then, you are going back to your parents’ place today?”

Lin Xiao Feng chuckled. “Then, you will have to come with me. I’m sure that your mother would persuade you to do the same.”

An Nuan knew that Lin Xiao Feng was right.

As a married couple, it would not make sense for them to stay in a different house. Moreover, they just told Mother An they are planning to give their relationship a try.

If Lin Xiao Feng planned to stay over at his parents house, perhaps, her mother would pack her luggage and send her next door.

Lin Xiao Feng smiled as he found that his wife’s reaction was quite interesting to look at.
