After breakfast, An Nuan grabbed her purse and put on a jacket before heading out with Lin Xiao Feng.

An Nuan had an appointment with Ye Qing Xin to discuss their collaboration. Now that An Nuan has started her company seriously, she plans to work with Ye Qing Xin’s online platform again. After all, it was due to Ye Qing Xin’s help that the jewelry she designed received so much attention.

When they arrived at the company, Ye Qing Xin’s secretary welcomed them in the lobby before escorting the couple to the meeting room upstairs.

The elevator stopped on their floor.

Lin Xiao Feng let his wife get off first before following her closely.

As they neared the meeting room, Lin Xiao Feng spotted a familiar face coming out of one of the rooms. He halted on the spot and stared at the man.

Noticing his gaze, Su Ming Yuan raised his head and smiled. “Xiao Feng, you are here as well.” His gaze shifted to An Nuan and the two exchanged a polite greeting.

“Why are you here?” Lin Xiao Feng raised a brow.

Yesterday, Lin Xiao Feng mentioned to Su Ming Yuan that he planned to accompany An Nuan to Ye Qing Xin’s company. However, he did not expect that he would be meeting his friend here.

“I’m here to chase someone,” Su Ming Yuan said.

Lin Xiao Feng glanced at the door where Lin Xiao Feng had just come out from. He remembered that Su Ming Yuan was chasing Ye Qing Xin. However, he did not know if his friend had succeeded or not.

It would be difficult for Su Ming Yuan to chase someone with his reputation.

But then, this was the first time Lin Xiao Feng saw his friend being serious about someone. He did hope that his friend would succeed. Miss Ye seemed like a good person.

“I was going to ask her out for lunch. I guess I have to wait until her meeting with your wife ends.” Su Ming Yuan motioned towards the meeting room. “Come in. What are you standing here for?” He shifted his eyes to An Nuan. “Miss Ye should come to meet you shortly.”

Lin Xiao Feng chuckled.

Someone was shamelessly acting as if this was his company.

Lin Xiao Feng wondered if everything was going well for Su Ming Yuan.

Last time, Wei Jun Hao mentioned that Miss Ye was not an easy woman.

Ye Qing Xin’s secretary came into the room to deliver some refreshments. Just in time, Ye Qing Xin walked into the room with a few documents in her arm.

“Hello. Mrs. Lin. Mr. Lin. Please have a seat.” Ye Qing Xin greeted the couple. Her eyes stopped at Su Ming Yuan. She raised a brow at him before looking away.

An Nuan sat in the meeting room to discuss her upcoming product with Ye Qing Xin.

She could talk confidently about her product. But when it comes to everything else, An Nuan would always ask for Lin Xiao Feng’s opinion.

Fortunately, Su Ming Yuan was around to give a few pieces of advice to An Nuan and Ye Qing Xin. He was a businessman with many connections. Helping both An Nuan and Ye Qing Xin should not be too hard for Su Ming Yuan.

The meeting went smoothly and it didn’t take too long before they agreed on their next cooperation.

Ye Qing Xin walked the couple to the elevator after their meeting ended.

Initially, she wanted to invite the couple to have lunch with her. Unfortunately, the couple had their arrangement.

Of course, Su Ming Yuan was the happiest when the Lin couple declined the lunch invitation. After all, he did come to the company for Ye Qing Xin.

He wondered who was Mr. Lane to An Nuan.

The thought that the man was someone important to his wife made Lin Xiao Feng unhappy.

Lin Xiao Feng was not a possessive man.

But when it comes to An Nuan, he wants to be the only man An Nuan would look at.

Lin Xiao Feng was curious but he could only wait until they were alone before he could ask her about that person.

“I guess you are familiar with him.” Ye Qing Xin smiled. “A few days ago, someone from Mr. Lane’s side contacted me. He saw the bracelet that Ning Wei wore for that photoshoot and was interested in it. I mentioned your name and he asked for your contact number.”

“Ah?” An Nuan could not hide her surprise.

“Of course, I did not give him your number,” Ye Qing Xin said. “But Mr. Lane seemed interested to meet you. He said that he’s planning to come to Y City and ask me to arrange a meeting with you. What do you think?”

“This…” An Nuan did not know what to think. After all, this matter was too sudden.

She had never thought that she would hear about this man again after she returned to Y City to get married.

An Nuan was shocked to hear that Mr. Lane wanted to meet her after seeing the bracelet that Ning Wei wore on the photoshoot. Most of all, she did not think that the man would keep an eye on her work.

“I will let you think about it,” Ye Qing Xin said. “Take your time for as long as you need. When you make your decision, you can find me. I will help you relay your decision to Mr. Lane.”
