An Nuan seemed distracted after leaving Ye Qing Xin’s company.

Lin Xiao Feng kept his eyes on his wife and wondered if she was thinking about the man from F Country. He could not lie that he was jealous. From the beginning until the end, An Nuan thought about that man without glancing at him once.

After driving for a while, they finally reached their destination.

Lin Xiao Feng pulled over his car in the parking area before turning to An Nuan. He observed her for a while and finally heaved a sigh. “Nuan Nuan.”

His voice snapped An Nuan out of her thoughts. She raised her head and was surprised to see Lin Xiao Feng staring back at her. As she looked around, An Nuan realized that the car had stopped. Currently, they were parked near the restaurant.

“Oh.” An Nuan unfastened her seatbelt. “We are here.”

Before she could reach the door, Lin Xiao Feng grabbed her hand, stopping her movement.

An Nuan shot Lin Xiao Feng a look, wondering what this man would do.

“What’s in your mind?” Lin Xiao Feng asked. “You were spacing out after we left Miss Ye’s office.”

An Nuan pursed her lips. She did not expect Lin Xiao Feng to realize that she had a lot on her mind. She was going to flash a smile and tell Lin Xiao Feng that it was nothing when the man spoke again.

“Your mood changed after hearing that person’s name,” Lin Xiao Feng continued. “Nuan Nuan, who is Andrew Lane?”

Lin Xiao Feng put a calm look on her face so that his wife would not notice that he was unhappy.

“Ah…” A faint smile appeared on An Nuan’s face. She hesitated if she should tell Lin Xiao Feng about that man.

“He could not be one of your suitors, right?”

The smile on An Nuan’s face froze when she heard Lin Xiao Feng’s question. As she stared at his face, An Nuan finally noticed that Lin Xiao Feng was unhappy.

This person… It could not be that he was jealous, right?

An Nuan laughed as the thought came to her mind.

Lin Xiao Feng’s brow furrowed. He wondered what was so funny about his question.

“Don’t misunderstand. Mr. Lane is not who you think he is,” An Nuan said, wanting to clear the misunderstanding quickly. She inhaled a deep breath and continued. “Mr. Lane is my mentor in F Country.”

The frown between Lin Xiao Feng’s brows quickly disappeared when he heard An Nuan’s words.

“He’s slightly older than my father.”

Lin Xiao Feng pursed his lips. He was trying hard to stay calm. Lin Xiao Feng was now embarrassed that he would think that An Nuan had another suitor.

“Lin Xiao Feng…” An Nuan stared at the man for a brief second. Then, a smile curled on her lips. “It couldn’t be that you are jealous right? Otherwise, why would you think that he is one of my suitors?”

He looked away and coughed to shake off the awkward feelings. “I’m not jealous.”

Of course, he would not admit it.

An Nuan raised a brow. It seemed that she did not believe his denial. “It’s alright even if you’re jealous. I think you’re quite adorable like this.”

As he looked at his wife’s face, Lin Xiao Feng did not miss the mischievous smile on An Nuan’s face.

He knew that An Nuan was teasing him.

Lin Xiao Feng heaved a sigh before leaning over to An Nuan until their face was almost touching.

Just when An Nuan thought that Lin Xiao Feng was going to kiss her, the man cupped her cheeks with both hands and pinched them softly.

“What should I do?” Lin Xiao Feng said. “An Nuan, you are too pretty. Of course, I would think that you have a lot of suitors.”

“Back then, Pei Zhi Yi and his family said, I should quit designing and focus on looking over the household matters after marriage,” An Nuan continued. Her brow furrowed as she thought of her past with Pei Zhi Yi. “And I agreed to listen to them.”

She loved Pei Zhi Yi so much that she was willing to let go of her passion just to marry him.

“I don’t know.” An Nuan frowned.

She was curious to know why her mentor was looking for her. However, the thought of meeting that man again frightened her.
