Lin Xiao Feng knew that his mother liked An Nuan a lot even before they were married.

His mother always wanted to have a daughter but the doctor advised her not to have another child after she gave birth to him.

These days, Lin Xiao Feng noticed that his mother was happier when he showed up with An Nuan.

Now that her favorite daughter-in-law was not around, it seemed that his mother had become too lazy to look at him.

“Mom, are you looking at the album the wedding studio sent over?”

“Hmm…” Song Luan glanced at her son. “That’s right. Xiao Feng, you should sit down and take a look at the album as well. It might give you ideas on what you want for your wedding.” She pushed the album to her son. “Look. I think this one looks quite good.”

Lin Xiao Feng took the album but did not make any comment.

He already had an idea for his wedding with An Nuan. Previously, Lin Xiao Feng had mentioned to his elders that he was going to plan everything for their wedding banquet which will be held in a few months. These days, he has been contacting the wedding planner privately. However, this does not stop his elders from looking at a few ideas.

“What?” Song Luan did not look up. Her gaze was still on the album.

Song Luan paused. She finally tore her eyes away from the album to look at her son. “What’s wrong?”

Song Luan knew that her son’s relationship with An Nuan was not like any other couple. Hearing that her son had something to say about her daughter-in-law made Song Luan anxious.

She hoped that the couple’s relationship was going well.

“Nothing wrong.” Lin Xiao Feng chuckled. “Mom, I just wanted to let you know that An Nuan and I are together. We talked during our trip to D Town a few days ago. An Nuan agreed to give our relationship a try.”

Song Luan stared at her son with her mouth slightly open. She did not know how to react, especially when her son was announcing the news casually.

It took Song Luan a while before she could compute the words her son had said. “Wait. Xiao Feng, what did you say? You and An Nuan? Hold on. Tell me again.” Song Luan grew excited as she thought of his son’s words again.

Lin Xiao Feng could not hide his smile as he looked at his mother’s reaction. “Mom, it’s just as you have heard. An Nuan and I are together. As a real husband and wife.”

“Really?” Song Luan frowned. “Lin Xiao Feng, you are not playing tricks on me, right?”

“Mom, why would I do that?” Lin Xiao Feng looked at his mother helplessly. “If you don’t believe me, you can ask An Nuan later.”

Song Luan finally believed that her son was telling her the truth.

Many thoughts went through Song Luan’s head all at once. Suddenly, she had an urge to visit her friend next door and talk about their children’s relationship.

“Xiao Feng, did your mother-in-law know about this?”

“Mom, where are you going?”
