The bride and groom stood in front of the wedding officiant and read their vow.

An Nuan heaved a sigh as she listened to their wedding vow.

In the past, she also planned to read her wedding vow when she was about to marry Pei Zhi Yi. But then, the plan changed when the person she was supposed to marry ran off for another woman.

As she watched Yun Shu slide the ring onto Qi Zheng’s finger, An Nuan glanced at Lin Xiao Feng to look at his reaction. Her eyes then shifted to their intertwined hands before they finally rested on the ring on Lin Xiao Feng’s finger.

An Nuan had always known that Lin Xiao Feng was waiting for her to design a wedding ring for him.

The one he was wearing now was too big for him. After all, the wedding ring was prepared for someone else.

When the wedding officiant announced that they could kiss as husband and wife, An Nuan began to panic.

Unexpectedly, Lin Xiao Feng moved into a position that would make them seem as if they were kissing. He did not try to take advantage of her while she was heartbroken even if it would be easy for him to do so.

The hall was lively with the sound of clapping and cheering. An Nuan stood up as she watched the groom and bride leave the hall.

The ceremony ended.

The banquet will soon start after the bride and groom have rested.

“What are you thinking about?”

The voice made An Nuan look up to meet Lin Xiao Feng’s gaze. She leaned on his shoulder and smiled. “I was just thinking about our last wedding ceremony. I just realized that there was not much I could remember about that day.”

Her memory of that day was not very pleasant.

“It’s alright.” Lin Xiao Feng rubbed An Nuan’s hand gently. “Our wedding banquet will be in a few months. Nuan Nuan, you can make new memories. This time, it will be a happy one.”

An Nuan stared at Lin Xiao Feng and smiled. “You still haven’t said much about our wedding. Lin Xiao Feng, are you going to keep this a secret until that day?.”

Lin Xiao Feng raised a brow. “What are you curious about?”

An Nuan pondered over Lin Xiao Feng’s question. “For example, the wedding dress.”

“Mrs. Lin.”

An Nuan’s heart skipped a beat when Lin Xiao Feng addressed her as Mrs. Lin.

“Didn’t you say that you are satisfied with the wedding dress I chose for our photoshoot?” Lin Xiao Feng smiled. “You don’t have to worry. This time, I’ll make sure that you will be satisfied with it as well.”

An Nuan laughed. “You are determined not to tell me anything?”

“I will tell you soon.” Lin Xiao Feng tapped his finger on An Nuan’s nose. “Of course, if you have any request, you can tell it to me now. I will do my best to satisfy your request.”

An Nuan pondered over Lin Xiao Feng’s words. She stared at him for a long time, wondering what was going through his mind. “Alright then. I guess I have no choice but to trust you.”

Lin Xiao Feng smiled. He pushed a few strands of hair behind An Nuan’s ear and said, “Are you tired? It will be a while before the banquet starts.”

“I’m fine.” An Nuan flashed an assuring smile.

Lin Xiao Feng suddenly recalled something that Zhang Yu Han had said to him earlier that day. “Yu Han arranged a room for us to use at his hotel,” he said. “If you are tired, we can go upstairs to rest.”

An Nuan pondered over Lin Xiao Feng’s suggestion. She was indeed a bit tired after socializing earlier. Moreover, the wedding banquet will be held at the same hotel. “Okay. I think I need to freshen up as well.”
