Lin Xiao Feng took the keys from the receptionist and headed to the room that Zhang Yu Han had prepared for him.

An Nuan stepped into the room in excitement. When Lin Xiao Feng mentioned resting for a while before the banquet, An Nuan planned to take a brief nap before they could join the others.

The room was decorated as if it were a honeymoon suite.

“Lin Xiao Feng.” An Nuan took a step back before looking at the man again. “Do you think that the receptionist mistakenly assigned us to a room for Qi Zheng and his wife?”

Lin Xiao Feng frowned. “I’ll check.” He tried his best not to step on the roses as he walked to the table. Lin Xiao Feng grabbed the phone and called the receptionist.

It did not take too long for the receptionist to answer his phone call.

Lin Xiao Feng did not expect the receptionist to tell him that they had not made any mistake.

The room was indeed his and An Nuan’s.

The receptionist mentioned that if he had any questions, he should ask directly to their boss.

“What’s wrong?” An Nuan asked when she saw the frown on Lin Xiao Feng’s face. She wondered if there was a problem. “What did they say?”

“Hold on. Let me check with Yu Han.” Lin Xiao Feng took out his phone and dialed a number.

After a few seconds, Zhang Yu Han’s voice was heard on the other line. “Xiao Feng?”

Lin Xiao Feng went to a quiet corner. “I checked into the room you provided at your hotel.” His gaze fell on the scattered roses on the floor. “Yu Han, the room was decorated with roses and stuff. I called the receptionist and they said that this is definitely my room. What’s going on? Did you accidentally switch my room with Qi Zheng’s?”

Zhang Yu Han let out a chuckle as he heard Lin Xiao Feng’s words. “Of course, not. I did not make a mistake.”

The frown on Lin Xiao Feng’s face deepened.

“You and An Nuan… Didn’t you both recently get together?” Zhang Yu Han said. “Thinking about it, both of you are considered newlyweds. I asked the hotel staff to prepare a honeymoon suite for you. Xiao Feng, you, and An Nuan can enjoy it as much as you want. No need to thank me.”

Lin Xiao Feng was speechless.

He did not expect that Zhang Yu Han would decorate the room for him and An Nuan.

“If there’s anything else you need, you can call the receptionist,” Zhang Yu Han continued. “My staff will do their best to help. Alright. My wife is calling me. I got to go.”

Lin Xiao Feng did not get the chance to say anything before Zhang Yu Han ended the phone call. He stared at his phone with a dazed look in his eyes until An Nuan walked over and patted his shoulder.

“What is it? Have you talked with Yu Han?”

Lin Xiao Feng felt awkward as he recalled what Zhang Yu Han told him earlier.

He could not tell An Nuan that Zhang Yu Han had asked the staff to decorate the room specially for them.

An Nuan would be embarrassed if she knew.

Lin Xiao Feng quickly tried to think of an excuse. “It’s nothing.” He let out an awkward cough. “Yu Han said that this is indeed our room. It’s just that they had extra flowers when they decorated Qi Zheng’s room. It would be too wasteful to throw them away. Yu Han told his staff to scatter some in other rooms.”

An Nuan stared at the roses on the floor thoughtfully. “They used so many roses for this room alone. Why did they order so much?”

“You know that QI Zheng’s wife, Yun Shu, is a wedding planner and she had a lot of connections,” Lin Xiao Feng said. “Perhaps these flowers were given by her contact.”
