The host announced that the bride and groom would enter the banquet hall.

An Nuan sat at the table and joined the others clapping as the newlyweds walked into the hall.

The bride was in her dress and the groom in his tuxedo. The couple was especially good-looking.

Meanwhile, the guests were cheering the newlyweds with some auspicious words.

An Nuan glanced at the man beside her as she thought of her own wedding a few months ago.

Yao Ying followed An Nuan’s line of gaze and saw a handsome man walking over. She gave the young man a lookover and realized that the man looked quite familiar. She turned to An Nuan again, hinting to introduce him to her.

“Grandmother Yao.” An Nuan smiled. “Let me introduce you…” She held Lin Xiao Feng’s arm habitually. “This is my husband. Lin Xiao Feng.”

Lin Xiao Feng glanced at the person beside him. A faint smile curled on his lips.

Naturally, Lin Xiao Feng was in a good mood upon hearing that An Nuan had introduced him as her husband.

“Hello.” Lin Xiao Feng greeted the older lady.

“Grandmother Yao, my husband is also a good friend of Qi Zheng,” An Nuan said.

Yao Ying nodded. “So, that was why you looked quite familiar.” Her eyes squinted as she smiled. “Young man. You are very good-looking.” Her eyes shifted to An Nuan again. “You did not lie when you told me that your husband is really handsome. Hey. If I was married to a good-looking man like him, I wouldn’t want to leave his side as well.”

Lin Xiao Feng raised a brow at his wife, wondering what she said to the old lady.

An Nuan laughed anxiously, knowing that Lin Xiao Feng was looking at her.

“Alright then. Now that your husband is here, I should leave you to him,” Yao Ying said. “Little An Nuan, let’s chat later.” She leaned closer and whispered, “With a good-looking man like your husband, you should hold on to him and never let go.”

An Nuan had an awkward smile on her face.

After exchanging a few more words, Yao Ying headed to the restroom, leaving An Nuan and Lin Xiao Feng at the side.

The couple watched as the older woman walked away until they could no longer see her.

An Nuan raised her head and saw that Lin Xiao Feng was watching her.

The hint of a smile on his face made her a little shy.

“What did you and Grandmother Yao talk about?” Lin Xiao Feng asked.

“It’s nothing.” An Nuan let out an awkward cough as she was reminded of the words she said to Yao Ying earlier. “Just this and that.”

“Oh?” Lin Xiao Feng raised a brow. “You seemed close.”

“Grandmother Yao is easy to get along with.” An Nuan watched Lin Xiao Feng for a while and suddenly wondered how he would react if she was to tell him what the older woman said to her earlier. “She mentioned that she often hung around the military camp and knew quite a lot of handsome and strong young men. Grandmother Yao wanted to know if I am interested in meeting a few.”
