Chapter 270: Can’t Sleep
An Nuan felt better after eating some food and taking a long hot bath.

A couple hours later, she sat on the bed, looking refreshed.

Her eyes were on the bathroom doors across the room.

When she recalled how Lin Xiao Feng had been looking after her, An Nuan felt a little guilty.

Lin Xiao Feng reminded her not to drink too much but while meeting a few friends she did not get to meet for a while, An Nuan became excited.

Moreover, she did not have the time to talk that much with her friends at her wedding.

Back then, her mind was preoccupied with something else.

While she was sleeping earlier, Lin Xiao Feng ran around to look after her.

She threw a tantrum when he tried to wake her up to eat some food and medicine.

An Nuan knew that she had troubled Lin Xiao Feng a lot.

He should have been gathering with the boys as it was Qi Zheng’s wedding but, Lin Xiao Feng stayed with her instead.

He told her that the boys did not care about partying as Zhang Yu Han and Wei Jun Hao had children they had to look after. But, An Nuan wondered if that was only an excuse.

The sound of the door opening snapped An Nuan out of her thoughts.

A few seconds later, Lin Xiao Feng was seen walking out of the bathroom in his white t-shirt and long lounge pants.

“Why are you not sleeping yet?” Lin Xiao Feng walked over and patted An Nuan’s head. “Still having a headache?”

“No. I’m fine. Just that, I’ve been sleeping for a couple hours just now and am no longer that sleepy.”

Lin Xiao Feng raised a brow. “Then, what do you want to do?”

An Nuan shook her head. “You can sleep. Lin Xiao Feng, you must be tired. Don’t mind me.”

Lin Xiao Feng smiled. How can he not mind his wife?

If she cannot sleep, then he will have to coax her to sleep.

Lin Xiao Feng turned off the lights. Then, he lifted the slip under the blanket next to An Nuan. “Come over here.”

Slowly, An Nuan scooted over to Lin Xiao Feng’s side and was pulled into his embrace. The man just had his shower and smelled very nice.

This was too strange.

They had been sleeping on the same bed a few times but recently, An Nuan found that each time Lin Xiao Feng lay next to her, she would move into his arms on her own.

An Nuan wondered if it was because Lin Xiao Feng’s body temperature was too comfortable for her.

She stayed in Lin Xiao Feng’s arms quietly with her face buried into his chest. The scent of the hotel’s shower gel smelled very good on his body.

After a while, An Nuan raised her head only to see Lin Xiao Feng’s jaw.

The man already closed his eyes to sleep but An Nuan felt quite energetic.

Still, she wanted Lin Xiao Feng to rest, realizing that she had troubled him enough.

Instead of disturbing Lin Xiao Feng or making him talk to her, An Nuan decided to watch Lin Xiao Feng as he slept. She thought that watching a sleeping Lin Xiao Feng would be interesting as well.

Suddenly, a light movement around his neck area caught her eyes.

An Nuan observed Lin Xiao Feng’s Adam’s apple and thought that it was especially protruding, especially from this angle…

Subconsciously, An Nuan raised her hand and brushed her finger lightly against Lin Xiao Feng’s throat.

Her moves startled Lin Xiao Feng.

He opened his eyes and stared at the woman in his arms, only to find that she was staring back at him.

“You…” Lin Xiao Feng’s voice was slightly hoarse. “An Nuan, what are you trying to do?”

“I’m sorry.” An Nuan looked apologetically at Lin Xiao Feng. “Did I disturb you?” She did not expect that a light touch would make Lin Xiao Feng open his eyes.

After observing Lin Xiao Feng for a while, An Nuan had thought that Lin Xiao Feng had quickly fallen asleep because he was too tired.

Of course, it would not be easy for Lin Xiao Feng to fall asleep, especially with An Nuan in his arms. Moreover, he was always reminded that this was the honeymoon suite that his friend had prepared for him.

“Still can’t sleep?” Lin Xiao Feng asked after a brief silence between them.

An Nuan nodded slowly. Even if she had denied it, Lin Xiao Feng would not believe her words.

“Then, let’s talk,” Lin Xiao Feng suggested. After all, he needed to get his mind off some improper thoughts.

“What do you want to talk about?”

Lin Xiao Feng pondered over An Nuan’s question. “You are going to get busy again once we return to Capital City. What are your plans?”

Her company was set and she had hired an assistant.

Through An Nuan’s discussion with Ye Qing Xin the other day, Lin Xiao Feng knew that An Nuan planned to release a few more products. Then, while meeting the people from the production, An Nuan learned that it would not take too long to produce what she needed.

The couple ended up chatting about An Nuan’s company while in bed.

An Nuan got excited while talking about her company. It seemed like falling asleep would not be easy for her.

Meanwhile, Lin Xiao Feng did not seem as if he was tired from listening to her.

“Then, Nuan Nuan…” Lin Xiao Feng stared into An Nuan’s eyes to observe her. “Have you decided on what you are going to do about your mentor?” He suddenly thought of that man when An Nuan was talking about her last meeting with Ye Qing Xin.

An Nuan pursed her lips as she thought of that old man.

Actually, her mentor had her phone number. If he wanted to find her, he did not have to contact Ye Qing Xin.

But, An Nuan figured that there was a possibility that her mentor might have deleted her number in anger. An Nuan knew that her mentor was furious when she decided to quit designing.

“I…” An Nuan licked her lips. “I think… I want to meet him.”
