Chapter 276: Sound Like a Pervert
Lin Xiao Feng entered the room while An Nuan was in the middle of doing her night skincare routine.

She observed Lin Xiao Feng through the mirror and noticed that he came in with a few clothes with him as well as toiletries.

An Nuan thought that Lin Xiao Feng was looking around the room like a thief.

This was not the first time he had entered the room but the thought that this time he would get to sleep in bed made him a bit excited.

He gets to sleep with the person he loves. How can Lin Xiao Feng not be happy?

“You can put your clothes in the wardrobe. There is a lot of space there,” An Nuan said. She stood up and walked over to Lin Xiao Feng’s side before leading him into her walk-in closet.

An Nuan looked at the clothes that he had never worn before and looked at Lin Xiao Feng again. “Should I tidy up the wardrobe and make more room for you later?”

The light in Lin Xiao Feng’s eyes flickered.

An Nuan was telling him that he could move into the room with his stuff.

“You don’t need to,” Lin Xiao Feng said. “I don’t have many clothes. Anyway, I usually wear the same clothes and style to the company.”

An Nuan narrowed her eyes. “You don’t have many clothes. But you still buy me a lot of clothes. It’s not like I will get the chance to wear everything.”

Lin Xiao Feng smiled. “I just thought that you would look pretty in those clothes. Then, I cannot stop myself from buying them.”

He enjoyed seeing An Nuan wearing those pretty clothes. He always wanted to give his wife the best in everything.

“Lin Xiao Feng, why do I think you sound like a pervert?” An Nuan said.

This man wanted to see her in a lot of different clothes. Doesn’t that make him sound like a pervert?

Lin Xiao Feng laughed.

Suddenly, he leaned closer until the tip of their noses were an inch apart. “I don’t mind doing something perverted with you.”

An Nuan inhaled a sharp breath. She punched him on the shoulder and shot him a warning look. “What are you talking about? You still have to work tomorrow.”

Lin Xiao Feng smiled. He decided not to tease his wife any further.

What would he do if An Nuan asked him to sleep on the couch?

An Nuan turned around and walked to the bed while Lin Xiao Feng followed her closely.

As soon as Lin Xiao Feng was lying on the bed, he pulled An Nuan closer and hugged her habitually.

His nose buried into her hair. Lin Xiao Feng thought that the smell of shampoo that An Nuan was using smelled very good. His hand was caressing An Nuan’s shoulder gently as if trying to coax her to sleep.

“I’m guessing that you will be busy at work after taking a long break this time,” An Nuan said as she raised her head to look at Lin Xiao Feng.

“Hmm…” Lin Xiao Feng sighed as he recalled the work waiting for him.

Fortunately, he had a very capable assistant.

Assistant Lu helped him a lot to lessen his workload.

Other than a few documents that he had to look at personally, there was not much for him to do.

“Don’t worry.” Lin Xiao Feng lowered his head to kiss An Nuan’s forehead. “I will still be able to come home and have dinner with you.”

“You don’t have to force yourself. Just tell me whenever you are busy,” An Nuan said. “I will understand.”

Lin Xiao Feng smiled. “Nuan Nuan, you are so good.”

An Nuan snorted.

“I don’t mind,” Lin Xiao Feng said. “I just wanted a chance to look at you.”

An Nuan felt that Lin Xiao Feng was getting better at saying sweet words.

“What about you? Are you going to start working on your company tomorrow?”

“I have a meeting with my new assistant in the afternoon,” An Nuan said. “My assistant had done a few things while we were away. I wanted to know the current progress.”

“Should I let Assistant Lu go with you?”

“No. I’ll be fine.” An Nuan smiled. “Assistant Xu is someone that your assistant had chosen for me. I think she is very capable. Moreover… You’re going to be busy. It’s better to have Assistant Lu with you.”

With Assistant Lu around, the chance for that secretary to get close to Lin Xiao Feng would be less.

Lin Xiao Feng is her man.

She would not let that secretary covert her husband.

Unfortunately, Lin Xiao Feng was unaware of what was going through An Nuan’s mind.

If he knew that An Nuan was jealous of his secretary, he would be speechless and happy at the same time.

The couple chatted about their work and what they planned to do for a while. Then, noticing that An Nuan was getting sleepier, Lin Xiao Feng hugged his wife and let her sleep.

The next morning, An Nuan stirred in her sleep when she felt a movement on the side.

She rubbed her eyes and saw Lin Xiao Feng tidying up the space where he had slept last night.

“Lin Xiao Feng?”

“It’s still early.” Lin Xiao Feng flashed an apologetic smile. He did not expect that the slight movement would wake An Nuan up. “You should sleep for a bit.”

“But, where are you going?” An Nuan’s voice was thick with sleepiness. She glanced at the clock on the wall and realized that it was still too early for Lin Xiao Feng to head to work.

“Morning jog.” Lin Xiao Feng patted An Nuan’s head. “Sleep a little more. I’ll come back in a while.”

“Hmm…” An Nuan lay on the pillow again as Lin Xiao Feng tucked her into bed.

She closed her eyes and listened to the sound of Lin Xiao Feng leaving the room.

A few minutes later, An Nuan opened her eyes again and realized that she could no longer fall asleep. It was strange but the bed felt colder without someone by her side.
