An Nuan looked at Lin Xiao Feng up and down.

The bouquet of roses in his hands was especially pretty but An Nuan thought her husband’s face was nicer to look at.

She was just thinking of this man a while ago and now, he appeared in front of her. The thought made An Nuan feel giddy. Seeing Lin Xiao Feng in front of her made her happy.

“This is the first day for your company,” Lin Xiao Feng said. “How can I not come to support you?” He extended his hand with the bouquet. “For you.”

An Nuan cradled the bouquet and smelled the flowers. They smelled especially good. “Thank you. They’re pretty.” She had the urge to kiss this man but An Nuan still remembered that her staff were around.

“I’m glad you like it.”

An Nuan peeked at the flowers before turning to Lin Xiao Feng again. “But why are you pretending to be a delivery man?”

Lin Xiao Feng laughed. “I just wanted to surprise you. You often come to my office to surprise me. I guess I should do the same.” He raised his head and noticed that a few of the staff were watching them.

Lin Xiao Feng had met Assistant Xu once after An Nuan hired her. As for the other staff, Lin Xiao Feng was unfamiliar with them.

An Nuan followed Lin Xiao Feng’s line of gaze. Her cheek turned redder when she noticed the teasing smile on her staff’s face. An Nuan held Lin Xiao Feng’s hand and pulled him to her side.

“Let me introduce…” An Nuan said. “This is my husband.” She glanced at Lin Xiao Feng before she began to introduce him to everyone else.

Lin Xiao Feng greeted everyone politely before turning to his wife again. “I booked a restaurant across the street for everyone. Let’s have lunch together.”

The staff began to whisper happily.

“You don’t have to do this.” An Nuan chuckled. “Aren’t you busy at work?”

“It’s alright. I can still spend time to accompany my wife for lunch.”

An Nuan had a hunch that Assistant Lu should be struggling right now while Lin Xiao Feng went away.

“This is your first day,” Lin Xiao Feng continued. “We should do something to celebrate it.” He leaned closer, almost making it seem as if he was about to kiss An Nuan. “Boss An, don’t worry. I’ll pay for it.”

An Nuan laughed. “My husband is generous. Come on. Let me take you for a tour.” Her eyes fell on the other bouquet that Lin Xiao Feng brought with him. “Right. Why did you bring so many flowers?” An Nuan wrinkled her nose. Her office smelled a bit like a florist.

“They’re from everyone else,” Lin Xiao Feng said. “Yu Han and the others knew that today is your first day. They wanted me to help them send the flowers.”

An Nuan walked over to the flowers and reached for a card. The bouquet was from Qi Zheng and his wife. They were congratulating her and wishing for her success.

An Nuan made a reminder to thank everyone who had sent her flowers after this.

After instructing her assistant to bring in the flowers, An Nuan led Lin Xiao Feng to her office.

She placed the bouquet on her table before turning to Lin Xiao Feng again. “I’m sorry. My office isn’t as big as yours.”

“It’s alright,” Lin Xiao Feng said. It did not take him a long time to reach An Nuan’s side with his long legs. “In a few years, your office will probably be bigger than mine.”

“You trust me that much?” An Nuan raised a brow.

Lin Xiao Feng did not answer immediately. He inched closer to An Nuan and held her waist.

An Nuan wondered if this man came to her office to seduce her.

Whatever it was that he was doing, it was working.

Lin Xiao Feng’s next words snapped An Nuan out of her thoughts.

“Nuan Nuan, I always believe in you.”

An Nuan’s heart was pounding fast.

She had to bite the inside of her cheek to calm down.

“Why?” An Nuan rested both hands on Lin Xiao Feng’s shoulder and cocked her head to one side. “Lin Xiao Feng, did you blindly believe in me?” Her lips curled into a cheeky smile. “Is it because you like me that much?”

Lin Xiao Feng chuckled. “Well, that might be the reason. I believe in myself. The person who I love should be an amazing person.”

“When did you become a narcissist?” An Nuan pinched Lin Xiao Feng on his shoulder but then realized that his muscles were too hard. “Are you not worried that you might be disappointed when I didn’t turn out to be the person you thought I was?”

“I don’t care.” Lin Xiao Feng said. “I’m already blinded by love.”

An Nuan’s face turned bright red.

Having someone who believed in her unconditionally felt very good.

But An Nuan also thought that Lin Xiao Feng was too cheesy.

He always knows to say things that would make her feel embarrassed.

While An Nuan was in a daze, Lin Xiao Feng leaned closer to kiss her on the lips.

An Nuan clenched Lin Xiao Feng’s shoulder tight the moment their lips touched.

At this time, An Nuan was glad that she decided to put the blinds up around her office.

This was convenient. She could kiss Lin Xiao Feng when no one else was around to watch.

Lin Xiao Feng’s kisses were soft and lingering. When Lin Xiao Feng pulled away, An Nuan could still feel the taste of his lips against hers.

The soft thud at the side pulled the couple’s attention away.

An Nuan followed the sound and realized that the roses that Lin Xiao Feng bought for her had fallen on the floor. She crouched down to pick it up and sighed as she looked at the petals.

“Nuan Nuan, the roses reminded me of something.”

“What?” An Nuan was so busy picking up the roses that she missed the change in Lin Xiao Feng’s eyes.

Lin Xiao Feng leaned closer and whispered, “That night, there were also roses scattered in our room.”

An Nuan paused.

She was suddenly reminded of the night they spent at Zhang Yu Han’s hotel at Qi Zheng’s wedding.

A faint blush appeared on An Nuan’s face when she realized that Lin Xiao Feng was teasing her again.
