Chapter 305: Like What You See?
After having his meal and medicine, Lin Xiao Feng lay on the bed again. He scooted to the side before patting the empty space beside him.

An Nuan stared at Lin Xiao Feng for a couple beats. Then, she took off her shoes, climbed up the bed, and lay beside her husband.

The two of them ended up staring at each other without saying a word.

Suddenly, Lin Xiao Feng smiled. He raised a hand to touch An Nuan’s nose. “Like what you see?”

An Nuan pursed her lips as she touched Lin Xiao Feng’s cheek. She felt a bit uncomfortable when she saw her husband getting thinner. An Nuan composed her thoughts so that Lin Xiao Feng would not know what she had in mind. However, she made a reminder to tell Auntie Yu to prepare food to nourish Lin Xiao Feng.

An Nuan raised both hands and rested them on Lin Xiao Feng’s shoulders. “I like it.”

A trace of surprise flashed in Lin Xiao Feng’s eyes. He did not expect that An Nuan would say that she liked him just like that. Usually, it would be hard to get such an answer from her.

Lin Xiao Feng had the urge to tease his wife a little more.

He placed a hand on An Nuan’s waist and pulled her closer. “Then, tell me what do you like about me?”

An Nuan chuckled at Lin Xiao Feng’s question. She stared into his eyes, pretending as if she was thinking about his question. “Well, you are good-looking.”

Lin Xiao Feng chuckled. “You like me for my good looks?”

He thought that it was good that he was blessed with good looks.

“Just that?” Lin Xiao Feng raised a brow.

An Nuan narrowed her eyes, realizing that Lin Xiao Feng was going to keep teasing her.

Someone was in a good mood.

He did not look like a patient at all.

She clasped her hands and inched closer to Lin Xiao Feng until the tip of their noses were almost touching. “Well, you are very good to me.” Her hand that rested on Lin Xiao Feng’s shoulders moved down to his arms.

Lin Xiao Feng felt ticklish. But he did not try to stop An Nuan from touching him.

While Lin Xiao Feng’s mind was wandering, An Nuan’s hand already moved to his chest area.

Lin Xiao Feng snapped out of his thoughts as An Nuan’s fingers were tracing the contour of his muscle.

His throat bobbed.

Their bodies were pressed close. If he moved a little bit, he would be able to kiss An Nuan.

“Your body also felt very good to touch.” An Nuan smiled.

“Nuan Nuan.” His voice was a bit hoarse.

Lin Xiao Feng did not think that he would be able to resist this temptation. Thinking about it, it has been a few days since the last time they were together.

An Nuan laughed when she saw the change on Lin Xiao Feng’s face. “What are you thinking about?” An Nuan closed Lin Xiao Feng’s eyes with his hands. “You’re a patient. Lin Xiao Feng, you better rest properly.”

Lin Xiao Feng inhaled a deep breath and laughed.

It was only now that he realized that An Nuan was teasing him.

“Alright. I’ll listen to you.” Lin Xiao Feng closed his eyes and tried to calm down. However, the smile on his lips remained.

An Nuan told him that she liked his look, his body, as well as the way he treated her. Hearing her words alone was enough to make him happy.

This girl used to be his white moonlight.

But now, she has become his wife.

Lin Xiao Feng could tell that her feelings towards him had grown.

As long as An Nuan liked him, even just a little bit, he would be satisfied.

Lin Xiao Feng inhaled a deep breath and tried to sleep just like his wife had suggested.

He was indeed a bit tired after staying up for a few nights. Being in An Nuan’s arms and inhaling her familiar scent put him at ease. It did not take him too long to feel drowsy again.

Lin Xiao Feng was staying in the VVIP wardroom. Therefore, the doctor and nurses were paying extra attention to him. Seeing that Lin Xiao Feng’s condition had gotten better, the doctor decided to release him and let him recuperate at home.

An Nuan was tidying up Lin Xiao Feng’s belongings as they waited for the paperwork to be done.

Knock! Knock!

An Nuan turned to the door and saw Assistant Lu standing at the door.

She stood up straight to greet him but then, An Nuan realized that something did not seem right with Assistant Lu’s expression.

Their gazes met. Assistant Lu tried to smile. “Mrs. Lin.”

“Assistant Lu?” An Nuan nodded. “What’s wrong? You seemed anxious.”

Lu Zheng did not answer. Instead, he turned to his boss who was seated on the bed.

“What is it?” Lin Xiao Feng asked. His brow furrowed deeper as he thought that something had happened to the victims at the shelter. “Assistant Lu, just speak.”

Assistant Lu walked closer to the bed and hesitated.

Lin Xiao Feng’s expression turned uglier when he noticed his assistant glancing at An Nuan a few times. “Lu Zheng.”

Lu Zheng understood from his boss’s tone of voice that he was getting angry.

Even though he was not willing to relay the news to his boss under An Nuan’s presence, he had no other choice but to say it.

Assistant Lu inhaled a deep breath and took out the phone from his pocket. He tapped his fingers on the screen and leaned forward to show him the news. “Mr. Lin,” he called. His voice was full of anxiety. “I think you should take a look at this.”
