Chapter 320: On a Date
Lin Xiao Feng attended the seminar for two days.

On the third day, he was finally free to go on a date with his wife.

The couple woke up in the morning and put on the outfit that An Nuan had bought.

Lin Xiao Feng looked at their reflection in the mirror and thought they looked good together.

They have breakfast at the hotel’s coffee house for two days straight.

This time, An Nuan planned to take Lin Xiao Feng to try a cafe that she liked to visit in the past. As soon as they entered the shop, An Nuan could feel that a lot of people were looking at them.

The clothes they wore were simple and should not attract much attention. However, both An Nuan and Lin Xiao Feng were good-looking. Now that they were wearing a matching outfit, the passersby could not help but cast another look at them.

An Nuan picked a seat next to the window. She covered half of her face as soon as she was seated.

“I’m not shy.” Lin Xiao Feng chuckled. “Why are you shy?”

“I just wanted to try wearing a matching outfit with you,” An Nuan said. “I did not expect that we would catch so much attention.”

“It’s because you are too pretty.”

An Nuan was momentarily stunned to hear Lin Xiao Feng’s compliment. Gradually, her face turned red.

Her reaction made Lin Xiao Feng laugh. If they were not in public, Lin Xiao Feng would really want to kiss her.

“You’re teasing me.”

“No. I’m telling you the truth.”

An Nuan had always been pretty from childhood. It was the reason An Nuan caught his eyes in the first place.

“You should have worn something like this in the past,” Lin Xiao Feng pointed out. “I thought you would get used to the attention.”

An Nuan frowned. “Actually, this is the first time I’m putting on a matching outfit.” A thought came to her mind, making her laugh. “Well, now that I remember, the last time I put on a matching outfit, it was with my mom. I think… I was five.”

The light in Lin Xiao Feng’s eyes lit up. Hearing that this was the first time An Nuan put on a couple outfits made him happy.

“You have never worn something like this with your ex before?” Lin Xiao Feng asked.

“Well, boys usually think that this is too tacky or showy.” An Nuan watched Lin Xiao Feng closely. “You don’t feel that way?”

“No. It’s alright.” Lin Xiao Feng glanced at his shirt. “This style isn’t that bad. At least you did not make me wear a shirt with a funny print.”

An Nuan laughed as she imagined Lin Xiao Feng wearing a shirt with a funny print. Even she did not dare to put on such a shirt and go out.

“Now you are giving me ideas.” An Nuan teased.

A waiter walked over to their table and took their orders.

After having their breakfast, An Nuan took Lin Xiao Feng to visit a few attractions.

F Country was famous for its architecture. Each building had its own story.

The Lin couple took many photos.

It felt as if they were on their honeymoon.

Later, the couple stopped by a few shops and bought a few souvenirs.

An Nuan was planning to visit her mentor Lin Xiao Feng and wanted to bring a few souvenirs for her mentor.

She had spoken to her mentor’s daughter, Stella, and was invited to their residence to have dinner.

It was not easy for them to come to F Country. An Nuan was planning to invite her mentor to their wedding banquet which will be held in a few months.

An Nuan could not help feeling a little nervous about meeting her mentor again.

The last time she handed a wedding invitation to her mentor, the two of them ended up arguing. Then, she did not hear anything from her mentor again.

An Nuan did not know what her mentor thought about Lin Xiao Feng. She was worried that her mentor would kick her and Lin Xiao Feng out once she handed him her wedding invitation.

“Relax.” Lin Xiao Feng squeezed An Nuan’s hand when he noticed that she had been spacing out. “Everything will be fine.”

An Nuan forced a smile. “I’m a little worried.”

“I think your mentor was just angry when you decided to quit previously,” Lin Xiao Feng said. “Now that you’re back at work, he should be fine.”

An Nuan pondered over Lin Xiao Feng’s words and sighed. She did not know if she should be at ease.

Last time, she rejected her mentor’s offer to work under a well-known jeweler.

“We’re already here,” Lin Xiao Feng pointed out. “Nuan Nuan, let’s go in.”

An Nuan inhaled a deep breath to calm down.

She figured that she should come and face her mentor.

Perhaps Lin Xiao Feng was right. Her mentor would not be angry when he saw her later. Moreover, Stella did mention that her father has been in a good mood recently.

With Lin Xiao Feng beside her, everything should be alright.

Holding hands, the couple walked to the building together.

An Nuan pressed the doorbell before turning to look at her husband again.

A minute later, the door was opened from the inside and Stella appeared with a smile on her face. “An Nuan, you are here.” Stella greeted her. Then, she shifted her eyes to Lin Xiao Feng. “Hello.” She stepped aside to make room for the couple. “Please come in.”

“Stella.” An Nuan smiled. She peeked into the house before turning to Stella again. “Your father,” An Nuan whispered. “Did he know that I’m coming over?”

Stella laughed. “Of course. I would be looking for trouble if I did not warn him that you’re coming over. You can be at ease. My father isn’t going to eat you. He knew that you and your husband is coming. He’s looking forward to see you.”
