Chapter 323: I Miss You
The next day, the Lin couple headed out again.

Lin Xiao Feng has always been curious about the place where An Nuan studied.

They were neighbours from childhood and has been going to the same school. Lin Xiao Feng could always turn around and peek at the person he liked from a distance.

But then, An Nuan moved to F Country.

Lin Xiao Feng was not able to see An Nuan from then on. He could only find out news about her through his mother.

Now that they were in F Country, Lin Xiao Feng wanted to visit every place An Nuan had ever been to.

They took a cab and reached An Nuan’s university.

A lot of people would come to the campus to look around the place.

As they walked around the place, An Nuan would tell Lin Xiao Feng a few interesting stories about the place. She would mention Ren Di and the crazy things they have done. However, An Nuan did not mention anything about Pei Zhi Yi.

Walking around the place brought so many memories between them An Nuan. However, An Nuan would rather pretend as if Pei Zhi Yi did not exist.

She was now happy with Lin Xiao Feng. Why would she want to ruin what she has now?

After walking around for a bit, An Nuan took Lin Xiao Feng to visit the restaurant where she and Ren Di liked to hang out. Sometimes, An Nuan and Ren Di would get homesick. They could not return home and could only find a restaurant that served food from their country.

The flavor from the restaurant wasn’t that good. But it was enough to make them miss home a little less.

“You did not return home the first year you came here,” Lin Xiao Feng said as they were waiting for their food. “Don’t you miss home?”

“I do.” An Nuan smiled. “But then, it was the first time I got to be away from my family. I made quite a lot of new friends and joined some clubs. On a long break, we would go out to visit a lot of places in this country.”

“You’re enjoying yourself.”

An Nuan laughed. “Hmm… Ren Di did not have much money to travel back and forth. In the past, I stayed in F Country to accompany her.”

Lin Xiao Feng narrowed his eyes.

It turned out, Ren Di was the reason An Nuan did not return home.

“Moreover… My parents would often come over to visit me here,” An Nuan continued. “The people I missed came to see me here. That was enough for me.”

Lin Xiao Feng stared at An Nuan as he recalled his feelings while An Nuan was away from him.

“I missed you,” Lin Xiao Feng said. His voice was a whisper. But An Nuan heard him loud and clear.

An Nuan did not know how to respond to Lin Xiao Feng’s words.

In the past, she was unaware that the person she grew up with had feelings for her. For An Nuan, Lin Xiao Feng was a childhood friend who became closer to her because of their mother’s friendship.

Her heart ached now that An Nuan was aware of Lin Xiao Feng’s feelings.

She could not imagine liking someone secretly. She could not imagine his feelings as he watched her date a few guys in the past.

This person had foolishly liked her.

“I used to stand in front of my window and look at your house, hoping that I could catch a glimpse of you as you went in and out of your house,” Lin Xiao Feng continued. “Looking out my window and knowing that I could not see you felt weird.”

An Nuan remembered that she could see her house whenever she stood at Lin Xiao Feng’s bedroom window.

She did not know that Lin Xiao Feng would be watching her.

An Nuan hoped that her younger self had never done anything weird while Lin Xiao Feng was watching.

A waiter walked over to deliver their drinks. Lin Xiao Feng thanked the waiter before looking at his wife again.

“Actually…” Lin Xiao Feng hesitated briefly. “I came to F Country during summer break to look for you.”

“Ah?” An Nuan could not hide her surprise.

She never knew that Lin Xiao Feng came to look for her.

“You… Why didn’t you tell me?” An Nuan asked.

Lin Xiao Feng smiled at the memory. “It was your first year. I heard from my mother that you are not coming back during your break. Then, I booked a flight and hoped that I could see you.”A helpless sigh escaped him. “This city is quite big. And I don’t dare to contact you.”

“Why not?”

Lin Xiao Feng looked away. “I was worried that you might think that I am a weirdo if I tell you that I came to F Country because I miss you.”

An Nuan was going to deny Lin Xiao Feng’s words. But then, she remembered that she was not that close to Lin Xiao Feng years ago. If Lin Xiao Feng did come to look for her and tell her he missed her, An Nuan would probably think that Lin Xiao Feng had lost his mind. Perhaps she would assume that he was trying to pull her legs.

An Nuan grew speechless.

She did not know what she should say at the moment.

“Lin Xiao Feng,” An Nuan said after a while. “You really like me very much.”

Lin Xiao Feng laughed. The light in his eyes twinkled. “Mhmm…”

“Then, tell me, when did you begin to like me?” An Nuan asked. “We have spent our time together since we were very young. When did you start to realize that you like me? Why don’t I know anything about it?”
