Chapter 328: A Misunderstanding
After spending a few days in F Country, the Lin couple finally returned to Capital City.

An Nuan was tired from travelling around, and all she wanted to do was lie on the familiar mattress and sleep for hours.

Initially, she planned to go to the company to check on her staff. But now, she figured that perhaps she should take another day off to rest before going to her company. An Nuan was planning to let her assistant stop by her house to discuss a few work matters.

After dinner, An Nuan headed upstairs, wanting to wash up before bed.

She stood in front of the large closet to look for comfortable pajamas to wear.

Lin Xiao Feng brought her a lot of outfits. Looking at the clothes hanging in the closet, An Nuan realized that she had never put on half of them.

An Nuan understood that Lin Xiao Feng wanted to spoil her and win her heart. But buying too much was not good.

Fortunately, she had talked to him and let him understand that she could not wear all of them.

An Nuan stood on tiptoe to reach for the pajamas that she had never put on before.

The tip of her breast brushed against the wardrobe, causing her to hiss in pain.

An Nuan took a step back and frowned as she touched her breast.

She noticed that her breast was a little tender these past few days.

An Nuan wondered if it was almost time for her to get her period.

Too many things have happened recently.

These past few weeks, An Nuan was busy with company matters and heading to Master Zhuang’s place to prepare a wedding ring for Lin Xiao Feng.

She had nearly forgotten about her period. She guessed that the time was near.

As the thought came to her mind, An Nuan decided to check the calendar on her phone.

However, An Nuan could not find her phone in the bedroom.

She stood still to retrace her steps and remembered that she had stopped by the study.

Earlier, Lin Xiao Feng volunteered to tidy up the dining table and let her head upstairs. On her way to their bedroom, An Nuan picked up Lin Xiao Feng’s small bag and delivered it to the study.

If her phone was not in the study, then, she would have to go downstairs to check.

With a sigh, An Nuan left the bedroom and headed to the study first.

She walked over to Lin Xiao Feng’s desk and tried to look for her phone.

Since she could not find her phone in the study, An Nuan planned to go downstairs and ask Lin Xiao Feng.

An Nuan was about to turn around and leave when her eyes caught on something on the shelf.

There was a box of unfamiliar supplements that she had never seen before.

Worried about her husband, An Nuan decided to take a quick look at the box.

Heat crept to her face when she realized that it was a supplement for men to last longer in bed.

Lin Xiao Feng has always been enthusiastic when they made love. However, An Nuan did not know that he was relying on supplements.

Was it necessary for him to take this?

“Nuan Nuan? You left your phone in the living room.”

Lin Xiao Feng’s voice made An Nuan turn around.

Her heart skipped a beat when she realized that Lin Xiao Feng was standing at the door.

An Nuan started to panic.

She did not want Lin Xiao Feng to think that she was rummaging through his stuff. Moreover, An Nuan figured that Lin Xiao Feng would be embarrassed if she knew his secret.

Their eyes met.

Lin Xiao Feng was quick to notice that his wife’s expression was a bit strange. A second later, his eyes fell on the familiar small box in An Nuan’s hand.

It took Lin Xiao Feng a few seconds to remember the supplement that Feng An Yu sent to him months ago.

His heartbeat accelerated.

Lin Xiao Feng rushed over to An Nuan’s side and snatched the box from her hand.

He thought that he had thrown these cursed supplements away. But why is it still in his study?

He looked at An Nuan again and saw the complicated look on her face.

By now, Lin Xiao Feng understood that his wife had misunderstood him.

Lin Xiao Feng had the urge to beat Feng An Yu to death.

“I’m sorry.” An Nuan apologized quickly when she saw Lin Xiao Feng’s expression turn uglier. “I didn’t mean to snoop around. Just that… I saw this box on the shelf and wondered what sort of supplement you’ve been taking. I did not expect…”

An Nuan did not finish the words she wanted to say.

“This is a misunderstanding,” Lin Xiao Feng said quickly. “I did not take this supplement.”

An Nuan stared at Lin Xiao Feng in doubt.

If he did not take the supplement, then why would he hide it in his study?

“Really, I didn’t.” Lin Xiao Feng became desperate to explain his situation. “Look.” Lin Xiao Feng showed the box to An Nuan again. “The box is still sealed. I did not take it.”

“Then, why is it in your study?” An Nuan asked. “Lin Xiao Feng, do you have any problems that I am not aware of?”

The corner of Lin Xiao Feng’s lips began to twitch.

Thanks to Feng An Yu, his wife was now doubting him.

“This is from Feng An Yu,” Lin Xiao Feng explained. “You know that his family was in pharmaceuticals. When you first started to move in with me, An Yu delivered this box of supplements as a joke. I thought, I already threw this thing away. I did not expect that it is still around.”

“Really?”

“Yes.” Lin Xiao Feng nodded. “Nuan Nuan, I won’t lie to you about this.” Seeing that his wife was still doubting him made Lin Xiao Feng grow frustrated.

His eyes grew dangerous.

He placed the box back on the shelf as he trapped An Nuan between him and the bookshelf. “Nuan Nuan, should I convince you that I did not need to take these supplements?”

An Nuan blinked.

Her instinct was telling her that she was now in a dangerous situation.

Before she could think of an escape plan, Lin Xiao Feng was already kissing and touching her on places that would make her legs go weak.
