With Lin Xiao Feng’s sudden plan to head back to Y City, An Nuan began to get busy again.

Fortunately, they were going back on a weekend and would not be disturbing her work that much. Moreover, with Lin Xiao Feng helping her with her company matters, An Nuan could finally relax.

Lin Xiao Feng put down the papers in his hand before turning to An Nuan again.

With one swift move, An Nuan was carried into his arms.

A chuckle escaped his lips as Lin Xiao Feng saw that An Nuan had not woken up. Usually, his wife would wake up when he carried her. But now, she was sleeping soundly.

Lin Xiao Feng wondered what An Nuan was busy with these past few days. He reminded himself to ask her assistant later and ask.

With An Nuan in his arms, Lin Xiao Feng headed back to their bedroom cautiously. His steps were slow as he was afraid that he might wake her up.

“Lin Xiao Feng?” An Nuan opened her eyes to a slit as Lin Xiao Feng placed her on the mattress. “What happened?”

“Sleep.” Lin Xiao Feng leaned in to kiss An Nuan’s forehead.

“Hmm…” An Nuan closed her eyes again and turned to get into a comfortable spot.

Seeing that his wife had settled, Lin Xiao Feng stood up straight and planned to head back to the study to look at the documents.

“Hubby?”

His steps halted when he heard An Nuan calling him. Her voice was laced with sleepiness, making it sound especially seductive in his ears.

“Where are you going?” An Nuan asked. “Aren’t you going to bed?”

Lin Xiao Feng turned around and brushed An Nuan’s hair with his hand. “I’m going to take a shower first. You should sleep first. I’ll join you in a bit.”

“Hmm…” An Nuan closed her eyes again. “Don’t take too long.”

Lin Xiao Feng chuckled. He watched his sleeping wife for a while before turning around. Lin Xiao Feng headed back to the study first to tidy up the documents on the coffee table. Then, he went to the bathroom to wash up.

An Nuan was sleeping soundly by the time he came out of the bathroom.

Lin Xiao Feng turned off the light and slid under the cover.

There was a brief silence.

Suddenly, there was a movement on the side.

An Nuan rolled over and placed her arms around Lin Xiao Feng’s waist.

Recently, he noticed that An Nuan seemed to hug him when she slept. He usually woke up in the morning with An Nuan’s head resting on his arms and her hands wrapped around his body as if refusing to let go.
