Chapter 333: She Used to be Very Reserve
“Nuan Nuan, you’re back.” Shi Xi was the happiest when she saw her daughter.

The last time An Nuan and Lin Xiao Feng returned to Y City, Shi Xi did not get to spend a long time with them. The couple returned to Y City in a hurry before they had to head back to Capital City.

“Mom…” An Nuan rushed to her mother’s embrace. The familiar scent made her feel more at ease.

Suddenly, An Nuan’s eyes and nose turned sour. She could not understand why she felt like crying.

“This girl…” Shi Xi laughed as she patted her daughter’s head. “Why are you acting as if you haven’t seen me in a long time.”

“An Nuan inhaled a deep breath to calm down. “Well, I just missed you a lot.”

Shi Xi heaved a sigh. She looked up and saw that her son-in-law was watching them. “Nuan Nuan, you’re already a married woman. How can you still act like a spoiled girl with me? Look. Xiao Feng is watching. Aren’t you shy?”

An Nuan straightened up quickly and looked at Lin Xiao Feng shyly.

“Mom, I don’t mind,” Lin Xiao Feng said. “Nuan Nuan hasn’t seen you for a while. It’s alright if she acted a bit spoiled.”

An Nuan looked satisfied with Lin Xiao Feng’s answer.

“Alright. I know that both of you are tired after your flight. Why don’t you both head upstairs to rest?” Shi Xi said. “You could take a morning flight tomorrow. Why did you have to come over this early?”

“I was thinking of having breakfast with you and Dad,” Lin Xiao Feng answered. “Recently, Nuan Nuan and I have been quite busy with work. It’s rare for us to spend our time with you.”

Shi Xi looked happy as she listened to her son-in-law’s words. She looked at the helper and urged them to take the luggage and bring them upstairs.

An Nuan stayed to chat with her mother for a bit before heading upstairs.

When she walked into her bedroom, Lin Xiao Feng had just come out of the bathroom. His hair was still wet and the towel was wrapped around his waist.

An Nuan’s eyes fell on Lin Xiao Feng’s chest.

The droplets of water streamed down his chest, making her swallow.

Seeing her good-looking husband in a girly bedroom felt a little strange.

“Did you finish talking with your mother?” Lin Xiao Feng asked as he walked over to An Nuan’s side.

An Nuan snapped out of her trance when she heard Lin Xiao Feng’s voice. A shade of pink appeared on her cheek when she realized that she had been staring at her husband.

Maybe there is something wrong with her.

Each time she looked at Lin Xiao Feng, she would have the urge to throw herself at him.

And these feelings seemed to intensify recently.

She used to be very reserve.

What happened to her?

“Go and wash up.” Lin Xiao Feng ruffled An Nuan’s head with his large hand. “You should go to bed early. We promised Mom and Dad to accompany them for breakfast. Tomorrow, Qi Zheng’s wife will come over and pick you up.” He pinched An Nuan’s nose lightly. “Weren’t you looking forward to putting on a wedding dress?”

The light in An Nuan’s eyes lit up. A thought came to her mind, making her frown. “You’re not coming with me?”

“It’s not good for me to see you in a wedding dress before the wedding, right?” Lin Xiao Feng teased.

He actually had another place he needed to go to.

While An Nuan went for a fitting, Lin Xiao Feng planned to go out with Zhang Yu Han to check on the wedding venue.

He wanted to make the wedding banquet perfect. Of course, he will have to work hard.

“Actually, it doesn’t matter,” An Nuan said.

“I just wanted to give you time to spend with the girls. Ren Di will be accompanying you as well,” Lin Xiao Feng said. “They could help you to choose the perfect dress.” Lin Xiao Feng smiled. “I am hoping that you can surprise me on our wedding day.”

An Nuan imagined the surprised look on Lin Xiao Feng’s face on the day she walked down the aisle. It seemed that it was a good idea to wait and let Lin Xiao Feng see her all dressed up on the wedding day.

The next day, the couple woke up early to accompany An Nuan’s parents for breakfast.

Surprisingly, her elder brother’s family came over as well to join them. The atmosphere was quite lively, especially with An Yi Ran around. The little boy cast a few glances at Lin Xiao Feng, wanting to ask his uncle to accompany him to play.

Seeing that he had some free time, Lin Xiao Feng decided to play with the little boy for a bit.

Lin Xiao Feng was accompanying the little boy to build a plane with his Lego set when he saw An Nuan walk down the stairs.

“Qi Zheng’s wife should arrive in a while,” Lin Xiao Feng said. “Nuan Nuan, sit here.” He patted the space beside him.

“Aunt, take a look at this.” An Yi Ran lifted the Lego in his hand. “Uncle helped me to build this.”

An Nuan looked at the Lego and praised her nephew’s skills.

The doorbell ring made An Nuan look up. “That should be Yun Shu.”

Lin Xiao Feng held An Nuan’s hand. “I’ll walk you to the door.”

His wife was going out for a bit but Lin Xiao Feng was not willing to part from her.

“Nuan Nuan.”

“Hmm?”

“Come back earlier,” Lin Xiao Feng said. “Mom said, we should gather two families and have a meal together. They heard about my promotion and wanted to celebrate.”

“Alright.” An Nuan nodded. She then paused as a thought came to her mind. She wondered if Grandfather Lin would be joining them as well. She was not too happy about seeing Grandfather Lin again but then, he was Lin Xiao Feng’s family member. Even if she did not like him, there was nothing else that she could do about it.
