Chapter 339: Liu Qing was Panicking
Liu Qing turned and looked at Sun Jiao inquiringly before turning to An Nuan. “Nuan Nuan.” Liu Qing leaned closer to her friend. “Is it someone you know?”

“She’s the younger sister of my ex,” An Nuan whispered back.

“What did she want from you?”

“I don’t know. I’m not close to her.”

Seeing the two women whispering and ignoring her made Sun Jiao angrier.

“An Nuan, I’m talking to you,” Sun Jiao said. “Why are you ignoring me?”

An Nuan finally turned to Sun Jiao again. “Miss Sun, I don’t think that there is anything else that we can talk about.” Her brow furrowed. “I really could not understand why you keep bothering me. You already got what you wanted, don’t you?” An Nuan flashed a smile that did not reach her eyes. “You should be happy.”

“It was you who told Brother Zhi Yi,” Sun Jiao said. “An Nuan, you have no right to meddle in my business.”

“What are you talking about?”

“Because of you, Brother Zhi Yi has been ignoring me.” Sun Jiao was now on the brink of tears as she thought of Pei Zhi Yi’s cold treatment towards her.”

“Pei Zhi Yi is ignoring you. But, what does that have to do with me?”

“If you didn’t spout nonsense to him, would Brother Zhi Yi ignore me?”

It took An Nuan a while to finally figure out what happened.

Last time, she spoke to Pei Zhi Yi and told him a few things.

An Nuan did not expect that Pei Zhi Yi would find Sun Jiao and talk to her about it when he returned.

“You like him,” An Nuan pointed out. “That was the truth. How am I spouting nonsense?”

“Even so, it was not your place to say anything to him.”

“I am also the person who was involved. How can you say that it was not my place to tell him anything?” An Nuan asked. “Your beloved brother wanted to know the reason I ended the relationship with him. I told him my reason. Do you still want to blame me? Sun Jiao. You like Pei Zhi Yi and have been disturbing me because of it. Pei Zhi Yi did not share the same feelings towards you. That is not my problem. You can’t blame me for every single problem you have.”

“That’s right.” Liu Qing nodded. “Miss… I think you have a problem here,” she raised her hand and pointed to her head. “Someone else did not like you. But why are you finding someone else? You can’t simply put the blame on my friend. Instead of blaming Nuan Nuan, you should reflect on yourself. Maybe your attitude is too unlikable.”

The elevator stopped on their floor.

Liu Qing glanced at the screen and heaved in relief. “Nuan Nuan, the elevator is here. Let’s leave. There’s no use talking to someone who is too unreasonable. Talking to an idiot would lower your IQ. Be careful.”

An Nuan nodded. She did not see any point in talking to Sun Jiao when all she would do was blame her.

An Nuan turned around and followed Liu Qing into the elevator.

Sun Jiao gritted her teeth as she watched An Nuan leave.

She wanted to look for An Nuan and vent her frustration.

In the past, An Nuan would listen to her and would not say anything back. She was easier to bully.

The elevator door slid closed just as Liu Qing was going to grab Sun Jiao.

“Why did you stop me?” Liu Qing did not look too happy when she failed to stop Sun Jiao. “An Nuan, you…” The words she wanted to say remained unfinished. Liu Qing was quick to notice that something was wrong with An Nuan’s expression.

Her body was bent slightly forward and her face was pale.

Liu Qing’s heart skipped a beat. “Nuan Nuan, what’s wrong?”

“I don’t know.” The frown on An Nuan’s face deepened. “My stomach hurts suddenly. I don’t know why.” An Nuan gripped Liu Qing’s arm tightly as she tried to suppress the pain.

“You need to use the restroom?”

“No. It’s not that.” An Nuan gasped. “I think I need to go to a hospital. Qing Qing, it’s too painful.”

Liu Qing looked around. She wanted to scream for help but there were only the two of them in the elevator.

“Bear with it for a while,” Liu Qing said. “I will take you to the hospital soon. How did you get a stomachache? Was it something we ate earlier? Was it that soup earlier? God. I told you that it was too sour but you think it tasted right.”

Fortunately, they were on their way to the parking area. It won’t be long before she could drive An Nuan to the hospital.
