Sun Jiao had almost lost her mind after spending the whole night at the police station.

She had never thought that she would be accused of attempted murder just because she had an argument with An Nuan. She told the police that she shoved An Nuan because they had an argument. Clearly, it should not be that serious.

“Jiao Jiao, I have talked to your Dad,” Mother Pei said.

Currently, her husband and son are in T Country, dealing with the company matters and working hard. Mother Pei was supposed to be with her husband. However, she returned to Y City alone a couple days ago to attend a family’s wedding.

If she was not in Y City this time, Sun Jiao would have to stay in the police station with no one to help her.

“Right now, the company is facing a difficult situation,” Mother Pei continued. “The investor suddenly changed their mind, saying that they don’t want to continue working with us.”

The Pei family thought that their business was doing alright in T Country. But in just one night, the situation changed. Father Pei noticed that this situation had happened in Y City after his son’s canceled wedding.
