An Nuan stayed at the hospital for a few days before she was allowed to be discharged.

Lin Xiao Feng stood up and sat next to An Nuan on the mattress. “What’s wrong? Why are you looking at me like that?”

An Nuan hesitated. She knew that she should not say words that would make Lin Xiao Feng feel guilty about leaving.

“It’s going to feel strange without you around,” An Nuan said.

A faint smile curled on his lips. Lin Xiao Feng could understand what An Nuan was feeling right now. He was also reluctant to leave his wife.

Lin Xiao Feng stretched his hand to touch An Nuan’s face. “It will be alright. I will come back on the weekend if I’m not too busy.”

“Won’t you get tired?” An Nuan felt bad at the thought of Lin Xiao Feng traveling back and forth for her.

“It will be worth it. I won’t get tired when I get to see your face.”

An Nuan was stunned to hear Lin Xiao Feng’s words. In a few seconds, her face turned bright red.

This man was too good at saying pleasant words.

“We can have video calls every day before going to bed,” Lin Xiao Feng said. “It will be just like the time when we just got married.”

An Nuan laughed at the memories. She leaned closer to Lin Xiao Feng and narrowed her eyes. “Back then, you told me that we have to talk every night to update each other so that our families would not suspect anything. Now that I think about it, I realize that there is something wrong with your reason. Both our families were aware of our marriage situation. So what if they suspect something?”

“Well, my wife is very smart.” Lin Xiao Feng pinched An Nuan’s cheek. “Back then, I just wanted an excuse to look at you and hear your voice.”

An Nuan snorted. “I knew it.”

Lin Xiao Feng smiled. “You don’t know just how much I like you.”

An Nuan’s eyes and nose turned sore.

It would be a lie to say that she was not touched when she heard how much this man liked her and how long he had kept his secret.

An Nuan knew that she was lucky to marry Lin Xiao Feng.

She could not imagine what it would be like if they both missed each other.

An Nuan raised both hands and placed them on Lin Xiao Feng’s shoulders. “Well, I like you as well.” She leaned over to kiss his lips. “I like you very very much.”

The couple stared into each other’s eyes before they both leaned in to kiss.

After a while, it was Lin Xiao Feng who broke their kiss.

Lin Xiao Feng liked kissing An Nuan a lot. But these days, he realized that he needed to restrain himself. He was worried that he might go crazy if he continued to kiss her.

Qi Zheng had reminded him many times that the first trimester was the most important for An Nuan and the baby.

Even if he was unwilling, Lin Xiao Feng had no other choice.

His wife probably did not know just how much she could affect him.

“Are you tired?” Lin Xiao Feng asked. “The doctor said you need to rest a lot.”

“Hmm…” An Nuan nodded. “I should sleep early. I still want to send you off in the morning.” She raised her head and looked at Lin Xiao Feng. “Hubby, won’t you accompany me to bed?”

The light in Lin Xiao Feng’s eyes flickered. Then, he realized that his wife was teasing him when she called him hubby.

“You’re being naughty.” Lin Xiao Feng pinched An Nuan’s nose, making her laugh.

“Well, we won’t be able to see each other for a few days,” An Nuan said. “I’ll miss you very much.”
