An Nuan looked out the window and noticed that the car was heading towards the hill areas.

She glanced at Lin Xiao Feng a few times, wondering where this man was planning to take her. However, each time she looked at him, Lin Xiao Feng would flash her a mysterious smile before he looked away.

An Nuan nudged Lin Xiao Feng’s arms a few times. She leaned to him and asked, “Lin Xiao Feng, it couldn’t be that you trying to sell me into the mountain, right?”

Lin Xiao Feng chuckled. “Don’t talk nonsense. It’s not easy for me to get a wife.” His brow rose. “Do you think I want to sell you into the mountains?”

“We’ll arrive soon.” Lin Xiao Feng glanced at the scenery outside. “In five minutes.”

An Nuan narrowed her eyes. It seemed that this man was not going to tell her anything.

Five minutes later, the surroundings were clearer.

The car finally stopped.

The door opened and the couple stepped out of the car.

She recalled the look on Lin Xiao Feng’s face earlier when he saw her in the wedding dress.

An Nuan chuckled. “Dad, he’s very good to me.” An Nuan smiled. “Sometimes, I think he’s too good.”

“That’s good.” An Qi nodded. “It’s better if he’s good. You are the daughter that I love and pamper. I hope that the person who’s going to stay with you until you’re old will love and pamper you as well.” His lips pursed into a thin line as he seemed to consider something. “Dad can see that Lin Xiao Feng is treating you well. I hope that this boy will be very consistent. Nuan Nuan.” He squeezed her daughter’s hands a little tighter. “If he ever changes his heart and starts to treat you differently, you can always tell me. I will get justice for you Nuan Nuan, you have to remember that before you are someone else’s wife, you are my daughter.”

An Nuan sniffled. “Dad, you’re going to make me cry.”

“Don’t cry.” An Qi leaned to hug his daughter. “Your mother is going to scold me if I ruin your makeup.

As if sensing that the father and daughter’s chat was done, the staff walked over and reminded them that the ceremony would start soon.
