Chapter 354: An Nuan’s Hubby
Once the ceremony ended, the couple was taken to the side room to rest before the banquet.

Ren Di came into the room to help An Nuan tidy up while ensuring that the expecting mother would have enough to eat. Once she had delivered everything that An Nuan would need, Ren Di tacitly left.

An Nuan and Lin Xiao Feng just had their wedding ceremony.

Ren Di guessed that the couple would have a lot of things they wanted to say to each other.

Anyway, she refused to stay around and eat dog food.

Lin Xiao Feng was texting his friends when he finally noticed that Ren Di had left. He watched his wife before walking over to her side.

The sound of his footsteps made An Nuan look up. She raised the tangerine in her hand and smiled. “Want one? I’ll peel it for you?”

“No. You can eat.” Lin Xiao Feng’s eyes fell on the pile of peel on the plate.

Lin Xiao Feng remembered that his wife often liked to eat something sour now that she was pregnant.

Noticing that Lin Xiao Feng still had his eyes on the tangerine in her hand, An Nuan pulled a section of the fruit before bringing it over to Lin Xiao Feng’s lips.

He opened his mouth obediently and ate the tangerine that his wife was feeding him.

“Are you tired?” Lin Xiao Feng asked. “I already told the wedding planner I wanted to make this ceremony as simple as possible. After the banquet, we can head to the hotel and rest.” His brow furrowed as some thoughts crossed his mind. “Tell me if you are feeling uncomfortable, alright?”

“I know.” An Nuan pinched Lin Xiao Feng’s cheek. “You are worrying too much. I won’t tire myself out. I promise.”

“Did the baby make trouble for you today?” Lin Xiao Feng asked. His eyes were on An Nuan’s stomach.

“No.” An Nuan chuckled. A serene smile appeared on her face as she placed a hand on her belly. “Our baby is especially well-behaved today.” She looked at Lin Xiao Feng again. “Ren Di has been telling our baby to behave and let me look pretty on our wedding day.”

Lin Xiao Feng smiled. “Well, you look especially pretty today.”

His words stunned her as An Nuan was not expecting that Lin Xiao Feng would tell her that she looked pretty. A faint blush appeared on her cheek.

“I know that you would look pretty in this dress,” Lin Xiao Feng continued. He touched her skirt and chuckled. “I chose five of the best dresses for you. But I like this one the most. I did not expect that you would choose the one that I like.”

“Hmm… Does that mean that we both share the same mind?”

Lin Xiao Feng answered An Nuan with a peck on her cheek. He lowered his gaze and looked at the ring on his finger. The thought that An Nuan might be the one who designed the new wedding ring made him happy.

“Nuan Nuan.” Lin Xiao Feng cleared his throat. “I noticed that something is different.”

An Nuan raised a brow, motioning for him to continue.

Lin Xiao Feng raised his hand and showed the ring on his finger. “This ring… It’s different from the previous one. Why did you suddenly change it?”

An Nuan laughed. She noticed the expectant look on Lin Xiao Feng’s face and thought that her husband looked especially cute.

“Didn’t you ask me to design a wedding ring for you?”

The light in Lin Xiao Feng’s eyes lit up. “You designed my wedding ring?”

“Mhm…” An Nuan nodded. A few seconds later, An Nuan frowned, pretending to look unhappy. “Don’t tell me that you did not like it?” “I like it.” Lin Xiao Feng retracted his hand as if wanting to hide the ring from An Nuan’s eyes. “I love it, very, very much.”

An Nuan laughed at Lin Xiao Feng’s reaction. “Then, I’m glad that you like it.” She reached for his hand and gave him a light squeeze. “Lin Xiao Feng, I know that you have been looking forward to wearing the wedding ring that I designed. I’m sorry that it took me a while to give this to you.”

“It’s alright. Nuan Nuan, I am willing to wait for as long as you need.”

“Last time, I let you wear a wedding ring that was meant for someone else,” An Nuan said. “The ring did not fit you but you continued to put them on. Lin Xiao Feng, I always felt bad about it. I hope that I can make up to you with this ring.”

“I like this ring very, very much. Nuan Nuan, as long as it was something from you, I will cherish it.” Lin Xiao Feng lowered his gaze, looking slightly embarrassed. “Actually, I thought that you might have already forgotten about my request. You can’t imagine my surprise when I saw the ring on my finger.”

An Nuan laughed again. “I haven’t forgotten.” She sat up straight when she remembered something important. “Right. Take off your ring.”

Lin Xiao Feng frowned. “No. Once you put this ring on me, it can never get off.”

An Nuan had a helpless look on her face. “I don’t mean anything else. I just wanted to show you something. Come on. Take the ring off for a few seconds.”

Lin Xiao Feng looked reluctant. But in the end, he listened to his wife and took off his ring.

“Take a look at the inside of the ring.”

He followed her words and looked inside. Lin Xiao Feng was surprised to see that there were some words inscribed on the ring. He had to narrow his eyes to get a closer look. Then, a wide smile appeared on his lips once Lin Xiao Feng was able to read the words.

“An Nuan’s Hubby.”

“I have to write your name on it so that you won’t lose it,” An Nuan said. “What do you think?”

Lin Xiao Feng laughed before he finally hugged his wife tightly. “I really love it.”

“I’m glad.” An Nuan raised her hand to show the ring on her finger next. “And you… I did not expect that you would get me a new ring. You did not say anything to me.”

“Last time, everything went too fast and I had to ask my mother for a ring. I always thought that I owe you a ring.”

An Nuan stared at Lin Xiao Feng for a while longer. “Hmm… Lin Xiao Feng, you just want to find a reason to shop for me, right?”

Her words made Lin Xiao Feng laugh again.

“I like the previous ring you put on my finger,” An Nuan said. “And I love this new ring as well. It’s pretty.”

Looking at the diamond, An Nuan wondered just how much Lin Xiao Feng spent on the ring.

Lin Xiao Feng breathed in relief. “I’m glad you like it.” He leaned over and rested his forehead against An Nuan’s. “I thought that this new ring would signify a new beginning for us.”

An Nuan smiled. She liked hearing the meaning of the ring on her finger.
