Chapter 50: Crazy Woman

An Nuan could not hide her surprise upon seeing Su Ming Yuan in front of her. Hearing him call her name, An Nuan snapped out of her trance and quickly remembered that Sun Jiao was going to attack her.

If Su Ming Yuan had not pulled Sun Jiao away, there would have been a red mark on her face.

An Nuan’s face turned gentler as she realized that Su Ming Yuan had helped her. “Thank you.”

“You two know each other?”

Sun Jiao’s voice made both An Nuan and Su Ming Yuan turn their attention back to her.

Su Ming Yuan raised a brow at An Nuan. “Someone you know?”

An Nuan quickly shook her head. “I don’t know her.”

Her quick answer made Su Ming Yuan laugh.

“An Nuan, what do you mean?” Sun Jiao glanced at Su Ming Yuan with a hint of fear. She could not forget the malicious look that this man had given her earlier.

“Su Ming Yuan, help me to keep this crazy woman away from me,” An Nuan said. “I don’t have time to deal with her.”

“Oh.” Su Ming Yuan nodded. “Then, you go ahead. I will find you later.”

Getting his answer, An Nuan quickly turned around to leave.

Sun Jiao wanted to chase after An Nuan but it was difficult when the fierce man was blocking her. Moreover, she had sprained her ankle earlier. Even if she wanted to chase after An Nuan, it would be impossible for her to walk very fast.

In the end, Sun Jiao could only watch as An Nuan turned around to leave.

Her teeth clenched tightly.

Sun Jiao was not happy with this situation. She came to make trouble for An Nuan but in the end, the one who suffered the most was her.

An Nuan sat up straight and shook her head. “No.” She let out an embarrassed cough, wondering just how much had Su Ming Yuan seen earlier. “Su Ming Yuan, thank you for your help just now.”

“Hey, you already thanked me once. Why do you have to say it again?” Su Ming Yuan touched the tip of his nose. “You’ll make me embarrassed.”

An Nuan chuckled at Su Ming Yuan’s reaction. She always remembered Su Ming Yuan as a famous playboy. It felt as if the embarrassed look on his face did not match his personality.

“That person…” Su Ming Yuan continued. “Did she often come to trouble you?”

Since he had witnessed some situations, Su Ming Yuan figured that he should ask a few questions and gather some information for Lin Xiao Feng.

His good brother was going to pursue this woman. Of course, he will do whatever he can to help.

“She’s…” An Nuan paused as she considered her relationship with Sun Jiao. “She’s the sister of my ex-fiance.”

The light in Su Ming Yuan’s eyes lit up.

He did not think that An Nuan’s relationship with her ex could be quite complicated.

“Lin Xiao Feng is away in Capital City,” Su Ming Yuan continued. “Since you are married to him, we will look after you when he is away.”

“I’m fine.”An Nuan lowered her head again.

“You don’t have to be polite,” Su Ming Yuan said. “It’s not as if we don’t know each other. At least, you can consider us as your fellow schoolmates.”

An Nuan was about to reject Su Ming Yuan’s kindness again when she noted the warm look on his face.

It was rare to see Young Master Su with this expression. An Nuan figured that she would look ungrateful if she continued to reject his kindness. “Alright.”

Su Ming Yuan was finally satisfied with An Nuan’s answer.

He continued to ask An Nuan about her condition when they both heard the announcement.

An Nuan’s expression turned pale when she heard her name announced as a missing person. A cursing words escaped her lips as she recalled her conversation with Ren Di at the cafe earlier.
