An Nuan accompanied Lin Xiao Feng to have breakfast in the dining area. When he left, An Nuan went back to her room again and looked at the sketches on her table.

The next day, Lin Xiao Feng came to An Nuan’s place again as they were both planning to go out to sort some documents together.

An Nuan’s mother wanted to invite Lin Xiao Feng to have breakfast with them again. However, Lin Xiao Feng refused them politely, telling them that he already had his breakfast at home and that he was in a hurry to leave with An Nuan.

Lin Xiao Feng was stunned the moment he saw An Nuan walk out.

She was wearing a matching white blouse with him.

This was not the first time that Lin Xiao Feng had seen An Nuan in white.

On their wedding day, An Nuan was dressed in a pretty and elaborate white, wedding dress.

However, Lin Xiao Feng thought that An Nuan in her white dress and pink skirt in front of him right now looked prettier.

Perhaps, it was because they were coming out to get their marriage certificate. This put Lin Xiao Feng in a good mood.

Just like the last time, Lin Xiao Feng let An Nuan drive his car again.

Seeing An Nuan behind the wheels made Lin Xiao Feng smile. He was happy to see that An Nuan was using something of his.

“Have you gotten used to this car?” Lin Xiao Feng asked as An Nuan drove onto the main road.

“Hmm… I don’t drive your car that frequently,” An Nuan said. “I can’t say that I’m used to it.”

Lin Xiao Feng nodded. “It’s alright. But An Nuan, I’m going to need you to drive it more when I’m not around. Otherwise, the engine would rust.”

An Nuan pondered over Lin Xiao Feng’s words. These days, Lin Xiao Feng is often in Capital City due to his work. When he is busy, he won’t be returning to Y City that much and will have a lot of time to drive his car.

“Alright.” An Nuan agreed. “I need to get used to driving in Y City again. If it was not for GPS, I might get lost. A lot of things have changed here. There were a lot of tall buildings that I had not seen before.”

“You will get used to it.”

An Nuan smiled. After driving for a while, she then noticed that the road was not as congested. “It’s good that we both head out early. Or else, we might be stuck in traffic.”

“Hmm…” Lin Xiao Feng nodded again as he looked out the window.

His gaze fell on the tall buildings in the city center. Then, Lin Xiao Feng once again looked at his wife. “I already booked a place for dinner tonight. Should we head out together later?”

The elders wanted to meet and have a proper meal as family members now that Lin Xiao Feng and An Nuan were a married couple.

Due to Lin Xiao Feng’s busy schedule, it was decided for them to have dinner later.

“Alright.” An Nuan nodded. “Actually, we don’t have to book a place to have dinner together. Lin Xiao Feng, we are neighbors. Wouldn’t it be convenient if we had dinner at yours or my place?”

Lin Xiao Feng smiled. “You are right. But my parents would feel bad to let your parents prepare for dinner. Your parents would feel the same if we had dinner at my place. It was better to book a private room. This way, we can all sit together and talk.”

An Nuan felt that Lin Xiao Feng’s arrangement was good.

As she held the steering wheel in hand, An Nuan could not help casting a few more glances at Lin Xiao Feng.

These days, she interacts a lot with this man. An Nuan felt as if she did not know Lin Xiao Feng that well in the past.

After driving for a while, they finally reached their destination.

An Nuan pulled over the car into a parking spot. Then, the couple walked into the building together.

There was already a queue when they arrived.

Lin Xiao Feng was about to get a number just like everyone else when he ran into someone he knew.

The person was someone that Lin Xiao Feng had worked with in the past when he was still in Y City. Coincidentally, this person’s position in the Civil Affairs Bureau was quite high.

After a brief exchange, Lin Xiao Feng and An Nuan were invited to go inside. Instead of queuing like everyone else, the couple was given a fast pass to get their certificate.

Within twenty minutes, the couple came out again while holding their wedding certificate in their hands.

Lin Xiao Feng stared at the photo of him and An Nuan together.

An Nuan put on a bright smile. Meanwhile, Lin Xiao Feng had a gentle look on his face.

Earlier, the couple stood in front of the camera awkwardly.

The photographer had to give them a few instructions before he was satisfied with the photo.

“It looks pretty good. What do you think?”

An Nuan’s voice pulled Lin Xiao Feng out of his thoughts.

He turned to An Nuan again and saw that she too was looking at the photo in their marriage certificate.

“You are right..” Lin Xiao Feng nodded. He liked their photos so much.

After staring at the photo for a while, Lin Xiao Feng took out his phone and snapped a few photos of his certificate to show it to his family and friends.

He sent one photo to his mother and another one to his group of brothers.

A few seconds later, Lin Xiao Feng’s phone was bombarded with notifications, mostly coming from his group of brothers. However, Lin Xiao Feng put down his phone and decided to entertain his friends’ questions later.

“There is still time,” Lin Xiao Feng said as he looked at An Nuan. “If you don’t mind, should we go out and head to the mall? I think we need to buy some gifts for the elders before dinner tonight.”

Lin Xiao Feng was reluctant to part with An Nuan so soon and came up with this excuse.
