An Nuan was looking at Zhang Yu Ying and Wei Jun Hao’s triplets in the stroller when she noticed that the boys had left the barbecue area and seemed to be heading somewhere else.

“Sister An Nuan.” Zhang Yu Ying called. She followed An Nuan’s line of gaze and smiled when she saw where the boys were heading to. “It seems that they are planning to play basketball.”

An Nuan raised a brow.

She did not know that Lin Xiao Feng and the boys were still playing basketball after all these years. An Nuan thought that the boys had stopped playing basketball after they graduated high school.

“They are still playing?”

Zhang Yu Ying chuckled. “Mmm… They will still play whenever they gather like this. As long as there is a basketball court, they would play a few rounds.”

“There’s a basketball court over here?” An Nuan swept her gaze around the place.

“You know my brother.” Zhang Yu Ying chuckled. “He likes basketball so much that he built a basketball court when he moved into this place.”

“Why don’t we go over and watch them?” Yun Shu asked. It was a rare chance that she got to watch her husband play basketball with the others.

“Mmm… Let’s go and watch the game,” Li Qin Yao agreed. She felt that her husband looked the most handsome when he was on the basketball court.

Seeing that the others were heading to the basketball court, An Nuan had no other choice but to follow as well.

She helped Zhang Yu Ying push one of the strollers for the triplets towards where the boys were gathered.

As they approached closer, An Nuan could hear Zhang Li Xue’s voice cheering up for her father. Her little brother stayed by her side to cheer for their father as well.

An Nuan was amazed to see that there was a basketball court in the backyard.

It was night and the dark surroundings made her miss the basketball court earlier.

She then remembered that the boys were crazy about basketball during their teenage years. Each time the boys showed up on the basketball court, the girls would come over to watch them.

Basketball was one of the reasons the boys became popular in school. They were good at it.

An Nuan remembered that the boys had entered a few competitions and joined in a few tournaments. Then, their principal would announce their victory each time the boys came back with a trophy.

“Look, it’s starting.” Yun Shu glanced at An Nuan before turning to her husband again.

“Li Xue, Yi Hai, come over,” Li Qin Yao called her children over lest they would get hurt from standing too close to the basketball court.

“Mommy, I’m helping Daddy to watch the time,” Zhang Li Xue said. She held the stopwatch in her hand and waved it to her mother from afar.

“Still, don’t stand too close,” Li Qin Yao reminded her.

The little girl took two steps back and stopped moving, making her mother heave helplessly.

The sound of the basketball against the floor could be heard.

At the center of the basketball court, the boys gathered to form a team. A few seconds later, they scattered into their position.

It was going to be a three-on-three match as usual.

Zhang Yu Han stood at the center with Feng An Yu.

The basketball was tossed in the air before Feng An Yu grabbed the ball.

The game started.

One team was finding a way to make their first score while another was looking for a chance to steal the ball and defend their goal.

An Nuan was planning to watch the game casually with the girls.

However, after watching them for a few minutes, she began to join them to cheer on the boys.

The boys were no longer as young and An Nuan was admiring their stamina.

Her hand clenched tightly to suppress her excitement each time Lin Xiao Feng had the basketball in his hand.

Finally, Qi Zheng scored the first goal. He received the ball from Zhang Yu Han and tossed it casually into the goal.

An Nuan heaved a sigh when she saw that Lin Xiao Feng had failed to snatch the ball before it went into the basket.

However, this was not the time for them to give up. The match was just starting and there was a chance that they might be able to turn around the situation.

An Nuan watched as the boys ran around the basketball court.

The sound of the basketball thumping against the floor was loud.

Both teams made their score and their gap was not too far away.

This was a casual match. However, both teams were doing their best to win.

An Nuan inhaled a sharp breath as she watched Wei Jun Hao pass the ball to Feng An Yu. She thought that Feng An Yu was going to attempt to score as he stood not far away from the goal. However, Feng An Yu tossed the ball to Lin Xiao Feng who stood at the side.

Zhang Yu Han’s team finally realized that Lin Xiao Feng was not guarded.

Qi Zheng ran to block Lin Xiao Feng’s path but failed.

An Nuan could not hide her awe as she watched Lin Xiao Feng dribble the basketball in his hand and twirl around Qi Zheng.

At the side, Wei Jun Hao was signaling Lin Xiao Feng to pass the ball to him.

Lin Xiao Feng shot his friend a look. He made it seem as if he was going to pass the ball to Wei Jun Hao before he finally turned around and headed to the goal.

With a kick, Lin Xiao Feng jumped up with the ball still in his hand.

An Nuan held her breath as she watched Lin Xiao Feng stretch his hands toward the basket.

SLAM!

The ball entered the basket before it fell on the floor with loud thumps.

Lin Xiao Feng hung on the basket for a brief second before he landed on both feet.

Finally, An Nuan heaved a breath of relief.

Zhang Li Xue blew the whistle when she saw that the time was up.

Lin Xiao Feng and his team lost by two points.

An Nuan thought that the game was very exciting. The image of Lin Xiao Feng jumping up high to score replayed in her mind, making her heart skip a beat.
