Chapter 75: Get Lost!

Pei Zhi Yi stared at the ring on An Nuan’s finger in a daze. He did not want to believe that An Nuan was married. He tried to think that An Nuan was showing him a random ring and claimed it to be her wedding ring.

However, Pei Zhi Yi remembered that An Nuan had mentioned her wedding certificate.

He did not believe that An Nuan was brave enough to get a wedding certificate from someone else. But at the same time, Pei Zhi Yi was worried that An Nuan was telling him the truth.

An Nuan smiled when he saw Pei Zhi Yi’s face turn pale.

She figured that by now, Pei Zhi Yi should understand that they cannot be together anymore.

The smile on An Nuan’s face disappeared. She felt as if she had misheard Pei Zhi Yi’s words.

An Nuan stared at the man in front of her speechlessly.

She began to feel that Pei Zhi Yi might have a comprehension problem.

An Nuan frowned as she felt her back colliding against something hard behind her. She looked up only to find that she was trapped between a car and Pei Zhi Yi. The man was staring back at her in anger.

“Nuan Nuan, what else do you want me to do?” Pei Zhi Yi said through his greeted teeth. “I’m telling you that I could not stay at the wedding because Jiao Jiao had an accident. Sure… it was not a life and death matter. But you know well that I considered her my younger sister. She is a family. Do you think that I should abandon her when she needs me?”

“Then, why don’t you go to her side now? Why are you bothering me?” An Nuan scoffed. “I’m very sure that Sun Jiao would be happy if you go to her side now.”

The anger in Pei Zhi Yi’s heart intensified as he listened to An Nuan’s words.

He had tried to reason with An Nuan. Why was she not listening to him?

“Stop talking about Jiao Jiao. An Nuan, we are discussing our relationship.” Pei Zhi Yi exhaled a long, deep breath. “What else do you want me to do?” Pei Zhi Yi asked. “Nuan Nuan, I’m sorry, alright. I know that I should not leave you on that day. But you cannot punish me like this.”

An Nuan gathered her strength to push Pei Zhi Yi away from her. “I want you to get lost! Don’t appear in front of me anymore. Pei Zhi Yi, don’t you understand human words?”

Pei Zhi Yi was stunned as he staggered backward.

He has been with An Nuan for years. This was the first time he had seen her being this fierce.

Before meeting An Nuan again, Pei Zhi Yi was confident that An Nuan would listen to his reason and later, the two of them would get back together.

An Nuan has always been forgiving.

As long as he coaxed her, she would listen.

They would be a loving couple as usual.

An Nuan would agree to reschedule their wedding.

“Nuan Nuan?” An Jian could not hide his surprise when he saw his younger sister.

He had just returned to the company after a meeting with a client. Then, he saw a couple fighting in the parking area.

Noticing that the woman seemed uncomfortable, An Jian decided to check on the situation.
