Chapter 93: Don’t Argue

An Nuan raised her head to look at Lin Xiao Feng and caught the slight smile on his face before it quickly faded. Just as she was about to put down her cutlery, An Nuan caught another smile on Lin Xiao Feng’s face.

The smile was not that obvious.

If she was not watching him, An Nuan would definitely miss them.

She did not know what Lin Xiao Feng was happy about.

An Nuan was concerned that Lin Xiao Feng’s fever might make him turn silly.

Knowing that Lin Xiao Feng was unwell, An Nuan did not dare to eat slowly and delayed him from taking his medicine.

Lin Xiao Feng was paying for their meal when An Nuan noticed the slight frown on his face. The smile earlier no longer appeared. He looked unhappy.

Was it because he had to pay for the meal?

“I’ll pay for this.” An Nuan stepped forward as she took out the purse from her hand.

“No.” Lin Xiao Feng blocked An Nuan from taking out her purse. “I’ll do it.”

An Nuan looked at Lin Xiao Feng in puzzlement.

What was he unhappy about?

An Nuan began to wonder if Lin Xiao Feng had mood swings.

Of course, she was unaware that a certain someone was just unhappy that the time he gets to spend with his wife was too short.

Lin Xiao Feng tapped his card on the terminal before turning around to look at An Nuan. “Let’s go.”

An Nuan followed Lin Xiao Feng closely and kept her eyes on him.

The wind blew as they stepped out of the restaurant.

Lin Xiao Feng stopped on his track and raised his arm to cover his face with his arm.

Then, there was silence.

Lin Xiao Feng was having difficulties breathing with his nose blocked.

An Nuan stood before Lin Xiao Feng and saw that his face turned a few shades redder. She stood on tiptoe and placed her palm on Lin Xiao Feng’s forehead only to notice that his forehead was hotter.

“I’m fine.” Lin Xiao Feng removed An Nuan’s hand from his forehead.

“Don’t tell me you’re fine when you’re almost burning. God. Your fever worsened.” An Nuan inhaled a deep breath and held Lin Xiao Feng’s hand. “That’s it. We’re going to the hospital right now.”

An Nuan was surprised at the speed of his rising temperature.

But then, she recalled that the air conditioner in the restaurant was quite cold.

“No hospital. It’s not that serious. I still have my medicine at home. Qi Zheng gave me a few the last time,” Lin Xiao Feng said. “I’ll be fine after–”

His words remained unfinished as Lin Xiao Feng let out a couple more sneezes.

He let out a sniffle. “An Nuan, I’ll send you back to your hotel first.” Lin Xiao Feng tried to smile. “Come on.”

“No. I’ll take you to the hospital.” An Nuan determined that Lin Xiao Feng was not in the condition to drive. She held out her palm and said, “Give me your car keys.”

“Why?”

“Just hand it over.”

Lin Xiao Feng pursed his lips. He did not think that An Nuan would be this fierce. But then, this would not be the first time that An Nuan has been fierce to him.

When they were in kindergarten, An Nuan scolded him a few times.

After a brief hesitation, Lin Xiao Feng took out his car keys and placed them in An Nuan’s hand.

“Let’s go. Don’t argue with me.” An Nuan held Lin Xiao Feng’s arm and dragged him to his car. She helped him into the passenger’s seat before heading to the driver’s seat.

An Nuan keyed in the location and started driving.

Lin Xiao Feng closed his eyes briefly before looking at the small screen. A helpless sigh escaped his lips when he saw that An Nuan was driving him to the hospital.

He wanted to tell An Nuan that he did not have to go to the hospital. His condition was not that bad.

But then, Lin Xiao Feng decided to shut up when he recalled An Nuan’s worried look.

Actually, going to the hospital isn’t that bad.

At least, he will get to spend more time with An Nuan.

As the thought came to his mind, LinXiao Feng began to relax for a bit.

He leaned on the seat and closed his eyes.

His brow furrowed as he felt someone touching his arm.

Lin Xiao Feng opened his eyes and saw his wife in front of him. It took him a while to remember that they were heading to the hospital. He wanted to close his eyes briefly. He did not expect that he would fall asleep.

“Come on.” An Nuan alighted from the car first before turning to Lin Xiao Feng.

She watched him register his name and accompanied him to the waiting area.

Fortunately, the hospital was not too busy. It did not take too long for a nurse to call Lin Xiao Feng’s name.

An Nuan kept her eyes on Lin Xiao Feng as the doctor checked on his condition.

Lin Xiao Feng had a fever but his condition was not so serious that he needed to be hospitalized.

The doctor prescribed him some medicine before letting him leave.

As long as he takes his medicine on time and has a proper rest, he should recover very soon.

“Look. The doctor said that my condition isn’t that serious,” Lin Xiao Feng said as he led An Nuan to the parking lot.

An Nuan narrowed her eyes. “It’s good to be careful. Look, you have been unwell for several days. Who knows if you really take your medicine?”

Lin Xiao Feng had a helpless smile. He actually enjoyed listening to An Nuan’s nagging. He was happy that An Nuan cared for him.

“Give me the car keys.” Lin Xiao Feng stretched his hand, asking for his car keys. “I’ll send you back to your hotel.”
