Chapter 112: 112 – Just Weird

“You’re good.”

Bryan said with a smile.

“Yeah, I know.”

And Raye replied with a shrug!

“It’s true that when they literally know nothing about you, they’ll just try to stop you in any way.”

Bryan said.

“But now that they’ve seen your strength, they’ll analyze and plan strategies about you. Though it’ll fail because of the fact that they’re miscalculating your strength.”

And then he added!

“And even though it might not work like that, we can still take advantage of this incident in a different way.”

“That’s right, even if they focus their attention on me, it’s still fine. They’ll lose sight of my classmates, where we still have Leon, Lena, and Lycus.”

Raye followed with another explanation.

“Yes, that would work.”

Bryan smiled slyly, just thinking of how the other academies will respond once they realize they’ve been had.

And bringing his attention back to Raye…

“Good job. We can continue with that plan.”

Bryan said that.

“Thanks.”

Raye simply replied.

“Anyway, is that all why you called me here?”

And then he asked.

“No, there’s one more.”

Bryan muttered while shaking his head.

Then, opening his mouth again…

“I’ll tell you about the competition too.”

He declared that!

“Ramiel would’ve told you this anyway later, but I’ll tell you now.”

Bryan said, and following that…

“So the competition will be a five-versus-five monster hunt—”

He started telling Raye the content of the competition!

“I’ll be going now.”

Raye said, ready to leave after he listened to everything Bryan had to say.

“Okay, be on your way.”

Bryan responded.

And with that…

Creak—

Thud—

Raye left the headmaster’s office.

“Ugh, time to meet the devil.”

He whispered underneath his breath.

And then he started heading to the indoor training ground where Ramiel usually takes him and the others every morning!

‘I already know what the competition is. I just stayed to listen to the headmaster to waste time before going back to Professor Ramiel’s class.’

Raye thought on his way.

So, it’s like this…

Twenty sophomore students from the other academies had come to Zion.

And every academy has their own [S Class].

In Crimson Academy, they have the [First-Class].

In the Zephyros Institute, they have the [Special Group].

And for the Night Academy, they have the [Special Order].

They’re the elite students of their respective academy.

And just like in [S Class], there are only ten students in those classes too!

So what will happen is that the competition will have two sets!

Set A and Set B.

Each academy will send five of their elite students per set.

And both sets will compete in the monster hunt at the same time, and the competition will happen for three days!

Then, while that’s happening…

The remaining ten students from the other academies that were not from the elite classes will have a tournament duel with the selected few from the [A Class]!

From the sophomores, of course.

And Devin is aiming to win that thing to get his revenge against Jerome and the other students that belittled the [A Class]!

‘I’m sure he’ll be able to do it.’

Raye thought, thinking of Devin.

And just then…

He reached where Ramiel and his classmates were.

“Ugh…”

Raye groaned.

But without beating around the bush…

He entered the room.

“Wow, you didn’t just stand still outside this time, huh.”

Ramiel said as soon as Raye stepped in. He was on top of the arena.

And before Raye could even say anything…

“Come on up here, let’s spar again.”

Ramiel said that!

‘This guy is just doing this to annoy me, not to train me!’

Raye exclaimed in his head as he walked toward the arena against his will.

Lena, Lycus, Leon, Allen, and all of Raye’s classmates were all focused on their own training at the moment.

The student representatives of the other academies were currently gathered together!

Ignis, Christian, and Ace!

Raye’s older brother, Elias Alvah, was also with them!

They were in his dorm room, actually.

“So maybe he’s not as weak, but who cares?”

Ignis said with a shrug. He was sitting on top of Elias’ bed.

“He just defeated a bunch of extras. I can do that too.”

He added. He was talking about Raye, he was their topic, in fact.

“Well, that’s true. But it doesn’t hurt to take precautions.”

Christian said with a smile. He was sitting in a lotus position on the floor, meditating.

“That’s right. That Raye guy has a different feel to him for some reason. He’s not as he’s like from the rumors that we had gathered.”

Ace followed strictly, sitting on a chair like a normal person.

“But we don’t have to worry too much.”

Elias said, sitting on the opposite side of Ace, looking at everyone.

“About half a year ago, when I last saw him, he was weaker than an average teenager. There’s no way he could catch up to us in such a short amount of time. He doesn’t have the talent for that, and he doesn’t work as hard as us.”

He declared!

“See, even the older brother said so!”

Ignis exclaimed after hearing Elias’ words.
