-Oh wow, you just killed 12 ghouls in a flash.

Zephyrus said to Raye as they were looking around.

“It’s nothing special.”

Raye responded.

He said this because ghouls are just slightly stronger than goblins, so he didn’t think he did anything impressive.

In his mind, he just cleaned up a mess.

-Meep meep!

Still, Pyro was impressed by Raye’s prowess.

He was excited by his growth!

And smiling at him…

“You’ll get stronger soon too.”

Raye said that to Pyro.

-Meep!

Pyro proudly puffed his chest out in confidence.

“Haha…”

Raye laughed, looking at the cute slime.

Pyro sometimes made him forget that he was stuck in this dungeon.

Anyway, after looking around…

Raye discovered that there were six rooms on the 3rd floor—three on each side.

“This will take a while.”

Raye mumbled.

And then he started checking the rooms one by one.

Raye was already in his third room.

It’s taking him this long…

Because every room on the floor was filled with ghouls!

Zephyrus said, pertaining to the final boss.

And Raye agreed with his words.

Especially after seeing a lot of child ghouls…

Anger was building up inside him.

So, after killing the last ghoul in the third room…

“Onto the next one.”

Raye didn’t waste a second and immediately proceeded to the next.

‘I’ll bring you good news, Ivan. I’m killing that fucker.’

Raye thought with a frown on his face.

And after about half an hour more…

SLASH—!

“…”

Thud—

Raye cleared the fifth room.

The number of ghouls increased as he moved to each room.

And in this room alone, he killed about forty ghouls!

“The Wallace Family had a lot of servants, huh.”

Raye said.

-Well yeah, they needed to take care of me.

And Zephyrus casually responded.

‘Oh right, he was treated as a deity back then.’

Raye thought, looking at the flying white chick in front of his face.

Pyro chirped excitedly, jumping onto Raye’s right shoulder.

And seeing that they were both ready…

“Let’s go.”

Raye left the room with them.

“This is the last, huh.”

Raye mumbled, standing in front of the final room he hadn’t entered yet.

He could feel a strong energy inside…

“Are you guys ready?”

Raye asked.

-Meep.

-Yep.

Pyro and Zephyrus answered.

And without further ado…

Raye opened the door to the room.

And then he immediately stepped inside!

And there…

-Oh, a visitor. You’re the first in a hundred years!

He found someone sitting at the other end of the room.

“Huh…?”

Raye was confused, seeing the boss monster.

Why? Because…

He didn’t look like a ghoul!

-Hi there, what’s your name?

The boss monster asked.

He had brown hair and blue eyes. The only thing that made him look monstrous was his bluish pale skin and the fangs growing out of his mouth!

But other than that, he looked completely human!

“So that’s what you got in exchange for working with the demon, huh.”

Raye muttered, frowning at him.

And hearing that…

-Hmm, you know about that? So you must’ve met the other rotting ghoul.

The boss monster responded slyly, his tone as if he was teasing Raye.

-Anyway, my name’s Chris.

He introduced himself.

And with a nod of his head…

“It’s so not nice to meet you.”

Raye replied, taking a fighting stance.

-Haha, you’re a funny one.

Chris said, and then he continued talking to himself after that.

Raye didn’t listen to him though…

-Good luck, we’re gonna hide now.

-Meep meep!

Zephyrus and Pyro whispered to Raye.

“Okay, stay safe.”

And after wishing them safety…

Raye brought his attention back to the boss monster, Chris.

And that’s when…

“Huh?”

He noticed that Chris wasn’t sitting on a chair.

‘It looks like a person.’

Raye thought.

“What’s that?”

And then he asked, pointing the tip of his sword at what Chris was sitting on.

-Oh, this?

And with a smile on his face…

-It’s the head of the now-forgotten Wallace Family!

Chris declared that and pulled the hair of the person he was sitting on, revealing their face to Raye!

“Ah…”

‘He’s dead.’

Raye immediately noticed there was no life in the person’s eyes.

‘Did the demon make it so that his body wouldn’t rot, just like with Chris?’

Raye wondered, looking at the human chair.

Though, while he was doing so…

-They are my toys.

Chris muttered that.

“Huh?”

‘They?’

Raye thought.

And immediately after that…

Two more mindless ghouls with their bodies attached stepped out!

And just like the head of the Wallace Family, there was no life in their eyes!

The ghouls were females…

-They are the wife and daughter of my chair.

Chris said.

“…”

Raye stayed silent.

Then, looking at the younger female ghoul…

-I had lots of fun with them, especially with this one.

Chris added.

“…”

Raye still didn’t say anything.

Raye exploded in anger hearing Chris’s words and he rushed at him mid-sentence!

And appearing in front of the seated Chris…
