Chapter 126: Chapter 126: High Demon Vs Noble Vampires – 1
Damian had developed an enormous level of control over his energies to the point that he could precisely limit the intensity of his holy energy, just enough to burn the noble vampire but not completely incinerate him.
The effect was excruciating.
The wounds inflicted by the holy flames prevented the vampire’s regenerative abilities from fully healing, causing him to feel continuous agony for an hour.
He screamed and screamed, his cries echoing through the battlefield.
Even now, his voice still rang out.
But to the high demon Damian, it was nothing more than a melody, fueling his sadistic nature like a sweet symphony of suffering.
Damian paused his grin as he sensed multiple presences closing in on him.
However, he did not stop torturing the noble vampire, nor did his demons cease their torment of the plebeian vampires.
In a single instant, something shot through the battlefield at incredible speed, bypassing hundreds of demons and plebeian vampires alike, before striking the high demon with immense force.
A violent shockwave erupted from the impact, followed by a deafening sonic boom that tore through the battlefield, drawing the attention of all who were watching the war unfold.
“They’re here,” Sir Holloway muttered, his eyes fixed on what had just struck Damian with such terrifying speed.
“The noble vampires of the Brenlith clan.”
The high demon Damian slowly raised his head, gazing at what he had caught in his hand as if it were nothing.
There, trapped in his grip, was a clenched fist, a punch that had failed to reach its mark.
The fist belonged to none other than one of the five Countesses, the leader of the Brenlith clan, Lyara Brenlith.
Her pale face was frozen in shock as she realized what had just happened.
She used every bit of strength she had in her base form and punched the High Demon with the added force of accelerating at an incredible speed.
Yet, the High Demon caught her fist like it was nothing.
The force of that attack had no effect on Damian.
Hell, it didn’t even make him move a single inch from where he was standing.
“Freaking hell… just how strong has he become?” Elfie asked, unable to take her eyes off the battlefield.
“Hell, I don’t know. He just caught the attack of a Vampire Count like it was nothing. A Vampire Count! They are the major powerhouses of the entire vampire species. Could he have grown past the power level of the Vampire Counts?” Sir Holloway rubbed his chin in thought.
“If he really did, I don’t think there is anyone, not just in Solarta but even in the Second Tower Realm, who can match him… But it’s impossible to grow that powerful in just a week.”
“Maybe it’s the power he gained from becoming a High Demon?” Shiru asked.
“Did you see him use any technique or skill? It’s just pure physical strength. Even if a High Demon has a strong physique, it shouldn’t be possible for him to catch an attack like that with his bare hand,” Sir Holloway replied.
Yes, when Damian was turned into a High Demon, he gained all the racial capabilities of the High Demons.
But little did Sir Lucian Holloway or anyone else know that Damian wasn’t just turned into a High Demon.
He had become a High Demon, but that didn’t mean his [True High Human] nature had disappeared.
In fact, right now, he was both a High Demon and a True High Human.
And this wasn’t even the extent of what Damian could do now.

In fact, he didn’t even have to transform into a High Demon to access the racial abilities of the High Demons.
Even now, while in his High Demon form, he could access the racial abilities of all the races he had collected in his [Spiritual Library].
That meant that, at this moment, Damian could utilize the racial abilities of the [High Human], [High Demon], [High Imp], [High Incubus], and [High Fallen Angel], all without needing to shift into the respective races.
He even possessed the abilities of two unknown races, races he somehow obtained but couldn’t yet identify or access.
Damian watched as the expression of the vampire countess shifted dramatically into one of shock.
“Is that the best you can do? And here I thought noble vampires were supposed to be too strong to mess with. I guess I shouldn’t believe everything I hear,” the high demon muttered.
In the next instant, a crimson fist struck the vampire countess’s solar plexus, creating a thunderous noise followed by a sonic boom.
She was sent flying meters away, crashing into the ground and thrashing like discarded trash.
“You monster…”
The ten noble vampires who had accompanied the countess watched in stunned silence as their leader was sent flying with a single punch.
Terror filled their eyes as they turned to face the high demon.
As a high demon, Damian had a natural racial advantage against vampires.
The miasma of demon energy was extremely toxic and dangerous to them.
But in this fight, Damian hadn’t used a single speck of his energy.
All he had relied on was his pure physical strength to send the vampire countess flying.
Ignoring the ten noble vampires, Damian appeared before the fallen countess in an instant.
“Now, should I kill you first, or your son? Do you want to choose, or should I?” he asked with a small grin.
“We were wrong… he was wrong… my son shouldn’t have made you his enemy….” The vampire countess stood up, the hole in her chest regenerating rapidly.
“Yes, he shouldn’t have. But he did. Unless you have a way to turn back time and undo it, I will be killing your son and then you,” Damian replied expressionlessly.
“You… I don’t want this to turn ugly…” The countess gritted her teeth.
It was clear from her expression that she was using every bit of her strength to speak respectfully, trying not to anger this monster any further.
“I’m saying we accept defeat. Just let this go. The noble vampires, my son, will not bother you or that girl anymore.”
“What if I don’t want to let this go? What can you do?” Damian asked.
His figure vanished, then reappeared before the young noble vampire, who was struggling on the ground, continuously burned by the holy flames.
As soon as Damian appeared, the holy flames burning him disappeared, finally putting an end to his screams.
His charred appearance became visible, revealing that he was barely clinging to life.
His regeneration had weakened significantly, and his burnt flesh was not healing as quickly as it should have.
Damian grabbed the burnt vampire by the neck and looked at the vampire countess.
“What can you do if I kill him right here and now?”
Before the vampire countess could react, and just as Damian made his statement, his other clawed hand dug into the vampire’s back, reaching for his heart and pulling it out.
“See? I removed his heart, and once I destroy his brain, he will be dead,” Damian said, holding up the barely beating, blood-soaked heart for the vampire countess to see.
“Don’t you dare…”
Veins popped on the vampire countess’s forehead as immense fury surged through her.
In response to her overwhelming emotions, her bloodline’s ability activated on its own, and flames engulfed her entire being.
“If you hurt my son, I will burn you, I will burn everyone you know,” she warned, her voice trembling with rage.
“I am asking you for the last time.”
Her appearance began to change dramatically.
Flames consumed her entirely, her ears elongated like those of an elf, and two massive, fire-covered wings emerged from her back.
Her frame became slimmer, yet she grew several inches taller.
Her presence intensified by several levels, and in place of her eyes, there were now only pure flames.
Even her long crimson hair transformed into burning fire.
“Let go of my son!” A coarse and deep voice erupted from the noble vampire, now fully transformed into her final ancestral form.
“You know what? I might just let him go,” Damian said, his grin widening.
He didn’t seem to care that the noble vampire had grown several times stronger.
“I’ll let him go and end this war if you lick my foot.”
“You—!”
The flames around the noble vampire intensified, exploding outward as she launched herself at Damian like a meteor.
He had already pushed her nerves far enough, and that last statement was the final straw.
She was a noble vampire, one of the five vampire countesses.
She could not, would not, be subjected to such humiliation by a being who had only recently become a topic of discussion.
Her pride was more important than her son.’
She would no longer try to ask nicely.
There was no need anymore.
The only option was to fight and kill as effectively as possible.
She was going to kill this high demon and save her son and her pride together.
Her figure shot forward like a meteor, crashing into Damian.
As soon as the attack connected, a massive explosion erupted.
A dome of flames expanded from the point of impact, spreading in every direction.
The force sent the demons Damian had summoned flying, while hundreds of lowly vampires burned in the crossfire.
The explosion and the fiery dome spiraled out of control, consuming everything in their path.
A massive crater formed, stretching dozens of meters wide and soaring high into the sky.
Lillian Brenlith, the older sister of Lyara Brenlith, watched the scene with an expressionless face.
As Lyara’s sister, she should have felt something, worry, fear, or even pride, but she didn’t.
It was understandable.
They had never been close.
In fact, they hated each other.
“Do you think Lyara can defeat him?” Countess Kuroyami asked with a bitter expression.
“The only reason my sister became the Countess was because I didn’t want the title. She’s not strong. She never trained, and she doesn’t have what it takes to be a Countess. And now, she’s proving it again, being defeated by that… thing,” Lillian said, snorting.
“Really?”
“Yes. Her flames may not be as powerful as mine, but she’s still a noble vampire, strong enough to unlock her complete ancestral form. She should still be among the top ten noble vampires in terms of power, but…” Lillian watched as the dome of flames rapidly faded.
“This boy… he’s just too damn strong. Her strength isn’t anywhere close to enough to defeat that monster…”
Back in the battlefield.
The flames created by the explosion vanished rapidly, revealing both the attacker and the defender.
“H-How…”
The terror on the vampire countess’s face deepened as she took in the sight she would never forget.
Ashe had poured a massive amount of her energy into that attack, one that should have incinerated the high demon into ashes.
Yet, all it managed to burn were his clothes.
Damian opened his eyes and looked up at the vampire in the sky, surrounded by flames.
From the center of the crater where he stood, he let out a sigh.
“Is that all? Is that the best attack you can do?” Disappointment was clear in his tone.
“And here I thought that if I angered you enough, you’d put up a real fight. But all you’ve given me is nothing but disappointment.”
“This… this… you… you monster…” the vampire countess muttered, her mind consumed by fear and terror.
Never in her worst nightmares had she imagined that even with her full strength in complete ancestral form, she wouldn’t be able to inflict so much as a scratch on this being.
Even the ten noble vampires she had brought with her were paralyzed with fear, unable to move their bodies.
The sheer pressure and fear was too overwhelming.
