Inside the Vampire King’s quarters, the Night King was sitting on the bed without a single piece of clothing.

His arms were wrapped around the woman sitting on his lap, who was also completely naked, and their lips were joined as their tongues danced together.

After a few more minutes of tonguing and kissing, Avaline finally pulled away and looked at her husband with an intense loving expression.

A thick pinkish aura began to seep out of her body, spreading in every direction and filling the entire room with a dreamy intimacy.

“Yeah. There has been a rapid influx of raiders. We believe it’s a sign that, in the near future, there’s going to be an invasion. It’s already caused a lot of unrest among the gods and other upper plane beings,” Avaline sighed, then her eyes widened.

“Husband… have you recovered your memories about the raiders and the invaders?”

“Yes… well, not everything, but almost everything,” Damian replied, combing his fingers through her messy golden-brown hair.

“When I was with Lenora and Amelia, my soul had already grown so strong that the memories started to unseal piece by piece. And now, while we were together, my soul grew even stronger. I recovered more than one-third of those memories…”

Just then, they felt two presences entering the room, two very familiar ones.

In the next instant, Lenora and Amelia appeared on either side.

Avaline sighed and rolled her eyes.

She wasn’t angry at them like before, but she was still a little annoyed to see them.

“Don’t you know it’s incredibly rude to barge in while we’re having an intimate moment?” Avaline asked, rolling her eyes.

“His soul… it’s changing, evolving at a rate I’ve never seen before. Not even from him. His soul has started to bypass the authority of the system. The system can no longer influence him anymore…” Eden explained, hiding her face behind her hand to conceal the pure emotion of happiness on her face.

“I can feel it…” Thea, the World Tree of Thearris, said. “My connection with him is growing rapidly…”

“All of us can feel it…” Raiya muttered.

“Why is it happening? How is his soul suddenly growing? What caused this?” the family head asked.

“I… I don’t know. He possesses too unique a soul. I have no idea. And honestly, I don’t care. It doesn’t matter why it’s happening. All that matters is that the simulation is successful. He has finally awakened his true nature. We finally have the champion we so desperately needed,” Eden said.

“What do you mean?” the family head asked.

“Think about it. Our universe needs him now more than ever. With the gods vanishing one by one, with the providence of the universe rapidly deteriorating, we are in a state where it’s been hundreds of thousands of years since a World Tree even came into existence,” she continued.

“Even now, we are continuously under assault from raiders. All signs point to nothing but destruction. I think all of this may have influenced his true nature to finally emerge…”

Another World Tree with reddish-black hair added, “The Universal Tree, positivity, negativity… We, the World Trees, even the gods, we all have roles to play in this universe. He too has a role to play…”
