Chapter 145: Worried Brothers
Aryndale paced back and forth inside the royal war chamber, his hands clenched into fists at his sides.
His sharp golden eyes, identical to Ahcehera’s, were filled with frustration and barely contained fury.
Across the room, Azedreo sat at the polished obsidian table, his fingers tapping restlessly against the surface.
Unlike his younger brother, Azedreo exuded a calmer demeanor, but the tension in his shoulders betrayed his worry.
“We have to go,” Aryndale declared, his voice sharp and impatient.
“Ahcehera’s connection was lost after she entered Agartha. We haven’t received any updates since. The Interstellar Brain can’t track her. That means something is blocking even the highest form of technological surveillance. Do you know what that means, Azedreo?”
Azedreo sighed, rubbing his temples.
“I know what it means, Aryndale. It means that something or someone is controlling Agartha. It’s not just a planetary malfunction, it’s deliberate. But rushing in without a plan could be a death sentence.”
Aryndale slammed his hand on the table, the force shaking the glass of water placed beside Azedreo. “Then what do you suggest? We just sit here and wait? She could be dead by now!”
Azedreo met his brother’s glare, his golden eyes steady.
“She’s not dead. You and I both know Ahcehera isn’t someone who dies easily. But we can’t act recklessly, not when we don’t even know what’s waiting for us in Agartha.”
Aryndale scowled but didn’t argue further. Instead, he turned to the holographic map displayed in the center of the room, a three-dimensional projection of the Andromeda Star Cluster.
The planet Agartha pulsed in a dull, ominous red, indicating its severed connection from the interstellar network.
“There’s no incoming or outgoing traffic,” Aryndale murmured, his eyes scanning the projection.
“If we take one of our own ships, we’ll have to bypass the planetary blockade. The moment we enter its atmosphere, we’ll be cut off completely. No communication, no backup. It’ll be just us.”
Azedreo nodded. “That’s why I suggested going to the academy first. They must have information about what’s happening in Agartha.”
“The Interstellar Brain might be blocked, but the academy has always been separate from the main system. If there’s anything left of its records, we might find some clues there.”
Aryndale frowned. “That’s if the academy is still standing. What if it was wiped out along with the rest of Agartha?”
“Then we’ll deal with it when we get there,” Azedreo replied firmly. “But we don’t go in blind. We go in prepared.”
Before Aryndale could respond, the chamber doors slid open with a low hiss. A regal presence filled the room before a single word was spoken.
Queen Tereza, their mother, stepped forward, her long midnight-blue gown trailing behind her like a flowing river of darkness.
Her sharp, intelligent eyes landed on both her sons, her expression unreadable.
“You will do no such thing,” she said, her voice calm but firm.
Aryndale turned to face her, his frustration boiling over. “Mother, we have to do something! Ahcehera is out there, alone, cut off from everyone! We can’t just stay here while she…”
“You will not disobey me,” Queen Tereza interrupted, her gaze hardening. “Do you think I am unaware of what is happening? Do you think I do not care?”
Azedreo placed a hand on Aryndale’s shoulder, silently urging him to calm down. He then turned to his mother, bowing his head slightly in respect.
“Then what do you suggest we do, Mother? If we cannot go to Agartha ourselves, how do we save Ahcehera?”
Queen Tereza walked toward the holographic map, her fingers grazing the glowing projection of Agartha.
“There is more at play here than just a lost connection or an interstellar interference. Agartha was sealed for a reason. And if Ahcehera has entered it, then she has already walked into the hands of fate itself.”
Aryndale’s jaw clenched. “What are you saying?”

The queen looked at him, her gaze piercing.
“I am saying that Ahcehera has become the center of something far beyond our control. And if we interfere blindly, we may do more harm than good.”
“But we can’t do nothing,” Aryndale insisted, his voice almost pleading now. “She’s our sister!”
Queen Tereza’s gaze softened slightly, but her resolve did not waver. “And that is why we must think before we act.”
She turned to Azedreo. “You were right to suggest the academy. While you cannot go to Agartha itself, you can find out what happened before the planet was sealed.”
“There may be information buried in the academy’s archives, information that can help us understand what Ahcehera has walked into.”
Azedreo nodded. “Then we should leave immediately.”
Queen Tereza raised a hand. “One more thing.”
The room fell silent as the queen’s expression darkened.
“The prophecy has begun to unravel. Ahcehera is tied to something ancient, something even I do not fully understand. If she is to face this alone, she must succeed. But if she fails…”
She did not finish her sentence.
Aryndale swallowed hard. “Then what?”
Queen Tereza exhaled slowly. “Then we may not have a future left to save.”
Silence filled the chamber. The weight of her words pressed upon them, making even Aryndale hesitate.
Then, finally, Azedreo spoke. “Then we’ll make sure she doesn’t fail.”
Queen Tereza nodded. “Go. Find the answers we need. And pray that it is not too late.”
Without another word, Azedreo and Aryndale turned on their heels and exited the chamber. Xizonrie First Military Academy has an old school in Sirius.
But as they walked, a heavy feeling settled over them, an unshakable sense that something far bigger than themselves was already in motion.
And all they could do now was race against time.
As Aryndale and Azedreo walked through the grand corridors of the palace, the weight of their mission pressed heavily upon them.
The golden glow of the chandeliers did little to comfort them, nor did the whispers of the servants who sensed the tension in the air.
“She’s strong,” Azedreo murmured, more to himself than to his brother. “Ahcehera won’t fall so easily.”
Aryndale clenched his fists. “I won’t sit back and wait for fate to decide her future. We’re going to find the truth, and if she needs us…”
“We’ll be ready,” Azedreo finished, determination burning in his eyes.
