Chapter 146: Fear the Unknown
Aryndale and Azedreo arrived at the abandoned grounds of Xizonrie First Military Academy on Planet Sirius, the once-prestigious institution that had trained the galaxy’s most elite warriors.
The academy had long ceased its operations as an educational facility, but its legacy remained within the halls that now functioned as a classified intelligence hub.
As they stepped out of their spacecraft, the towering structures loomed over them like ghosts of the past, the vast dome-shaped buildings covered in vines and dust from years of neglect.
The air was thick with silence, save for the distant hum of the security drones scanning the perimeter. The academy was still alive in its own way, a silent sentinel that held secrets buried beneath time.
They walked toward the main entrance, where a single scanner panel still functioned. Aryndale placed his palm over it, and the system whirred to life, scanning his identity. A cold, robotic voice greeted them.
“Welcome back, Prince Aryndale of House Solvann. Prince Azedreo of House Solvann. Clearance confirmed.”
The heavy doors creaked open, revealing a darkened corridor illuminated only by the soft glow of embedded wall lights.
The interior had changed, what was once a bustling academic hub filled with young soldiers now resembled a war archive, its walls lined with ancient battle records and classified mission logs.
Azedreo moved toward one of the main control panels and typed in his access code.
Screens flickered to life, displaying endless data logs of past military operations, espionage reports, and real-time updates from across the Andromeda galaxy.
He quickly pulled up Agartha’s records.
But what they found wasn’t Ahcehera’s arrival, it was something far worse.
The screen displayed footage of Agartha before its fall. The academy that once stood proudly in its capital was now nothing more than ruins.
There were no survivors reported. The official records showed that a massive explosion of dark matter had wiped out everything.
The footage played in fragments, showing students, officers, and civilians scrambling as a dark cloud swallowed the academy.
Buildings crumbled, screams echoed, and then, nothing. The feed cut off.
Aryndale felt his stomach drop. “This… this can’t be right.”
Azedreo rewound the footage, but there was no mistake. The destruction was absolute.
The last recorded energy signatures showed traces of necromantic forces intertwined with dark matter, an unholy combination that meant only one thing.
“The presence of Zephyrion…” Azedreo muttered, his voice cold with rage.
Aryndale clenched his fists. “If he was there, does that mean…?”
A dark silence settled between them. If Zephyrion had taken over Agartha, and Ahcehera had indeed arrived there, then she had walked straight into the heart of disaster.
Azedreo exhaled sharply. “We need to find out if she’s still alive. If there are any traces of her in this system, the academy’s intelligence logs will have recorded it.”
He quickly typed commands into the system, scanning for any recent interstellar activity around Agartha.
Minutes passed. Then…
“There’s something,” Aryndale said, pointing at a separate log.
A transmission had been received from an unknown vessel near Agartha just weeks ago, but the signal was weak and heavily encrypted.
Azedreo ran the data through the decryption system, and though most of the message was corrupted, two words stood out clearly.
Destiny’s Daughter.
Aryndale and Azedreo exchanged glances.

“That’s her,” Azedreo whispered.
Aryndale nodded. “It has to be. But if she’s being referred to as Destiny’s Daughter… then something more is happening on Agartha than we ever imagined.”
They both knew what the title meant. Destiny’s Daughter wasn’t just a name, it was a prophecy, a legend.
If Ahcehera had been called that, then she was no longer just their sister. She had become something much greater.
Azedreo clenched his jaw. “Then we don’t have time to waste. If she’s still there, we have to get her out before it’s too late.”
But just as they prepared to leave, another alert flashed on the screen. A recent data leak.
Someone had tried to erase files regarding Agartha. Someone who didn’t want the truth to be known. And that meant…
“They know we’re looking into this,” Aryndale muttered.
A sudden warning siren echoed through the abandoned academy. The automatic defenses activated, and red warning lights flashed across the corridors.
Azedreo drew his weapon. “We need to move. Now.”
As they ran towards the exit, the walls shifted, revealing hidden gun turrets activating on their own.
The academy had been compromised. Someone didn’t want them to leave with what they had just discovered.
Blaster fire erupted. Aryndale activated his energy shield, blocking the attacks while Azedreo took precise shots at the turrets, destroying them one by one.
They pushed forward, dodging the automated defenses, their bodies moving with the precision of trained warriors.
They reached the hangar just in time, leaping into their spacecraft as more security systems activated to try and trap them.
Aryndale powered up the thrusters, and the ship shot out of the academy, dodging laser blasts as the facility tried to prevent their escape.
As soon as they were in orbit, the academy’s security systems shut down. The place returned to silence, as if nothing had happened.
Panting, Azedreo sat back in his seat. “That wasn’t normal. Someone was watching us.”
Aryndale gripped the controls, his face dark with thought. “And whoever it was, they don’t want us to find Ahcehera.”
They set a direct course for Agartha, their minds racing. If Ahcehera was still alive, they would find her. No matter what stood in their way.
As their spacecraft soared through the vast expanse of space, Aryndale and Azedreo remained silent, their minds weighed down by the implications of what they had just uncovered.
The destruction of Agartha, the presence of Zephyrion, and the prophecy surrounding Ahcehera, it was all connected.
Aryndale tightened his grip on the controls. “We’re running out of time.”
Azedreo nodded, his expression hardened with determination. “No matter what’s waiting for us, we’ll get her back.”
With that, they activated the warp drive, disappearing into the stars, heading straight toward the unknown horrors that awaited them on Agartha.
