- Chapter 127 - Chapter 127 Chapter 126 Others practicing zombie-killing 3
Chapter 127: Chapter 126: Others practicing zombie-killing 3 Chapter 127: Chapter 126: Others practicing zombie-killing 3 Her other bodyguards stayed on the second floor to watch what was happening downstairs properly.
Ava held the spear tightly while nervously looking around.
When she saw the zombies, she didn’t dare to move forward and stayed on the spot.
She only attacked the zombie that came near her.
There are still some zombies around, but they weren’t moving because Myla controlled the gravity around them.
Ava was very nervous, so when the zombies attacked her, she didn’t dodge immediately but still managed to dodge when the zombie was just 10 inches away from her while screaming.
“Waaahh!” Ava screamed while dodging the zombie that was reaching her again.
“Oh my, look, she’s agitating the other zombies.
And it seemed that she forgot that she was holding a weapon,” Luciel said while looking at Ava, who was just dodging the zombie that was coming at her while screaming.
The zombies that Myla had restricted with her powers wanted to move to where Ava was because she kept screaming.
The other zombies that were farther away from Ava also started moving to where she was because she was being too loud.
When Ava saw that there were more zombies coming to where she was.
She finally remembered that she actually had a weapon.
Ava obviously didn’t know how to use a spear, so she just used it to smash the zombie that was coming towards her.
She attacked and smashed the head of the zombie that was coming, but the zombie still didn’t fall because her strength wasn’t enough.
With a scream, Ava continued smashing the zombie’s head until she was sure that the zombie wasn’t moving anymore.
After she knew that she had finally killed a zombie, Ava just sat down on the floor and started crying.
One of Ava’s bodyguards carried her upstairs while Myla and the others still stayed on the first floor because they still had to deal with the remaining zombies.
“Nice, Ava.
You finally killed a zombie today,” Treyton said.
“Ava, good job; you did great!” Nathan also said.
Even though they praised Ava, Ava didn’t say anything and just continued crying.
“Good job, everyone.
You did great in killing zombies this time.
We will continue letting you guys kill zombies every time before we rest until the day we arrive at the north base,” Treyton said.
The people who killed zombies were originally happy, but when they heard that Treyton wanted them to continue killing zombies for a few more days, all of them became silent.
“You still want me to kill more zombies!” Ava raised her head with her tear-stained face and glared at Treyton.
“Yes, you already killed one, so it would be easier to kill a few more zombies,” Treyton said without caring about Ava’s non-threatening glare.
“You are being cruel!” Ava said and started crying again.
“Yeah, I know.

Don’t worry, it’s only a few days.
After a few days, we will arrive at the base, and I won’t be able to control you anymore when you go to your dad or brother,” Treyton said.
Ava couldn’t say anything back to Treyton, so she just shut her mouth and continued to cry on the side where her bodyguard put her down.
“Brother Luciel!” “Brother!” “What is it?” Luciel said while looking at the three kids who were suddenly in front of him.
“Brother, we also want to go and kill a zombie!” Sophie said.
“Yes, we also want to try and kill a zombie,” Ashlee said.
Theo didn’t say anything, but his eyes also showed that he also wanted to do it like Sophie and Ashlee.
“Didn’t you guys see that the others had a hard time killing zombies on their own?
Do you think you can even kill a zombie?” Luciel asked lazily.
“Yes, we saw it, but we still want to try,” Ashlee said.
“Then, why are you coming to me and not to your guardians?” As soon as he asked, the three kids looked down.
It was obvious that they knew that they wouldn’t be allowed if they went and asked their guardians, so they went to him instead.
They really knew who to talk to to get what they wanted.
“Oh, you guys are being fearless.
Ok, you guys go and try it,” Luciel said while looking at them.
“Myla, leave one zombie behind,” Luciel shouted to Myla, who was downstairs.
Yang and Jane wanted to say something, but Luciel spoke first, “Just let them try it; they’re not going to listen anyway.” Ashlee and the other kids were being fearless, so it’s better to let them try it themselves to know that they really couldn’t do it yet.
If they didn’t try, they would surely be unwilling and would continue to get an opportunity to try killing a zombie.
“So, what weapon do you guys want to use?” Luciel asked.
“I’ll use daggers,” Ashlee said.
“Me too,” Sophie added.
“I’ll use an iron rod,” Theo said.
“Ok, go and get your weapons and then go downstairs.
All of you will deal with one zombie together,” Luciel said.
The three kids excitedly went to get weapons of their own.
“Ok, go and do what you want; Myla and the others will certainly watch over you guys and won’t let you guys die,” Luciel said while waving his hands to the kids who just got their weapons.
After hearing what Luciel said, they went downstairs.
“Heh, they’re really fearless and really went downstairs,” Luciel said while looking at the kids who went down.
“Kids are really more fearless,” Treyton said, agreeing with what Luciel said.
“Yeah, so they have to learn that they really can’t do anything yet,” Luciel said while watching what the kids will do.
After the kids went down, they looked at the approaching zombie vigilantly.
Ashlee threw a dagger at the zombie, but it didn’t hit the zombie and only grazed it a bit.
After the zombie was grazed by a dagger, it became more excited to attack them and walked faster than before.
Seeing that the zombie was getting near them, Theo attacked the zombie’s knees with the iron rod that he got.
The zombie didn’t fall over because Theo obviously doesn’t have the strength to make the zombie fall down.
Sophie also threw one of her daggers, but it didn’t hit the zombie at all.
The three kids continued attacking the zombie, but then, in the end, they weren’t able to kill the zombie.
So, Myla had to finish the zombie off when it tried to harm the kids.
“So, how is it?” Luciel asked while looking at the three kids who were carried by Myla and the others upstairs.
Ashlee, Sophie, and Theo all looked dirty and tired after running around trying to kill the zombie.
As soon as Luciel asked, the three kids didn’t answer but just stayed silent.
They look so down, which was vastly different from their excited look earlier.
Well, they’re not even that tall enough to reach the waist of the zombie they attacked, so no wonder they couldn’t kill it successfully.
Their strength isn’t enough yet to land a proper blow on the zombie.
Ashlee’s daggers actually hit the zombie most of the time.
Even some of Sophie’s throws also hit the zombie that they were fighting.
But they weren’t deep enough to cause much damage because they still lack strength.
It was also the same with Theo’s attack; his attacks indeed landed on the zombie, but his strength was still not enough to cause much damage to the zombie.
If it were a living being, their attacks might have had some effects, but they were fighting something that couldn’t even feel pain, so of course their attacks weren’t that useful.
“Look, didn’t I say that you still can’t do it?
You guys better continue your training obediently, and when you’re a bit older, then you can go and try killing zombies again,” Luciel said.
Ashlee, Sophie, and Theo finally obediently nodded.
“Ok.
Go and clean up.
Next time you can still watch them kill zombies, but you can’t try killing zombies again,” Luciel said.
Yang and Jane came to get the three kids to wash up and change clothes because all of them became too dirty from their fight.
After seeing the kids who went to wash, Ava finally stopped crying and also went to wash up.
“Oh, everyone of them looks so glum,” Luciel said while looking at all those who just fought zombies for the first time.
“They’ll get used to it later on,” Treyton said without caring too much.
“Yeah, it’s indeed good for them to know how to kill zombies, even though they might not have to go and kill zombies afterwards,” Luciel said.
Most of them wouldn’t be out of the base again because most of them were more useful in the base for their brains or skills than their fighting ability.
So they won’t actually have the need to fight zombies on their own later on.
