Chapter 206: Chapter 205: Meeting one of the villains 2

When the others heard what he said, they all hurried to where he was.

Treyton was the one who came to his side the fastest because when he started moving around, Treyton also came out of his dazed state and started moving.

When the others came, they opened the glass wall, and Nathan went to check the person inside first.

After a brief checkup and confirming that nothing was dangerous, Nathan started cutting the thick ropes that were binding the man.

Nathan also offered him water after letting the man sit up. After drinking water, it seemed that the man was already ready to talk.

So, Luciel just leaned on the glass wall and waited for Treyton and the others to question the man.

“Hello, we came from the north base, and we were supposed to get research equipment here, but we didn’t expect that this research center is actually being used.

I’m Nathan. May we know who you are?”

The man didn’t answer immediately but drank more water before answering.

“I’m Azim. I’m from the Zone X base nearby, but I’ve been staying here for a month already,” Azim answered slowly.

From the way he was speaking, it was obvious that he hadn’t spoken for a long time. However, Luciel didn’t bother paying attention to the way Azim spoke because his name already caught his attention.

It seemed that Treyton and the others were really lucky with the mission that they received this time because they easily encountered people that they have to pay attention to in the future, like Admon and Azim.

Luciel didn’t expect that the first person that they would be talking to after arriving at the research center was actually one of the villains in the novel.

Luciel was sure that the man talking to them was one of the villains in the novel from the research institute.

The place they were in wasn’t that big to begin with, and the name Azim wasn’t that common at all.

The research center they were in was probably the research center where Azim was trapped for a year.

After a year, Azim was able to destroy the research center and escape, but before that, he experienced so much torment that his heart and mind were already clouded with revenge and craziness.

Azim doesn’t look healthy, and it was obvious that he was suffering from malnutrition and dehydration.

However, Azim was still very intact and doesn’t have the scars he had, which were described in the novel.

In the novel, it was written that because of the experiments, all of Azim’s body was covered with scars.

It was written that even Azim’s face was full of cuts and only one of his eyes was working properly because one of his eyes couldn’t see anymore.

Azim suffered too much from the experiments that were conducted in the research center, and in the end he was filled with craziness.

His humanity was probably slowly eroded until only his craziness and obsession remained in the end.

Even though Azim killed everyone that had tormented him before escaping, Azim still wasn’t satisfied with it and was crazy enough to kill all the researchers that he encountered even though they didn’t have anything to do with what had happened to him.

In the novel, Azim became the leader of the people that were very persistent in killing researchers and people that have talent in becoming researchers.

It can be said that they were the biggest reason why no one had been able to fully understand why the world they were in suddenly turned out the way it is.

They weren’t even able to understand the zombies properly, so even though Treyton became the strongest person at the end of the novel, a lot of their problems weren’t solved at all.

Azim and the people in their organization always killed researchers and even destroyed almost all the research centers they could find.

Azim’s organization had always been destroying research centers.

It was written in the novel that their organization wasn’t killing people randomly unless they were the people who were attacking them or people who had the capability to become researchers.

Even though they kept destroying different research centers in different bases, they weren’t killing others as long as they achieved their goals.

However, they actually contributed to the deaths of a lot of people, especially those without superpowers, even though they weren’t killing a lot of people with their own hands.

They had been killing those intelligent people, so of course, the progress or the development of the bases wasn’t that good.

The people who might have invented a lot of things for the convenience of the people died because of the organization.

The bases were not able to develop better weapons and other practical things that they could use for survival.

The world they were in, indeed, needed a lot of strong people because of the dangers, but if they don’t have people with great minds, then it’s more difficult to improve their situation at all.

Even though some bases managed to develop some useful things, they had made them slowly.

Because of their craziness, a lot of people that might have been able to survive if they just had more useful things for survival all died.

Luciel was planning to kill the villain if he met him because of their craziness that was written in the novel.

He doesn’t mind people with craziness, but they should at least have enough sanity not to keep on causing big problems in society that would also cause problems in his living standards.

If Azim was already full of craziness without even a bit of sanity, then Luciel wouldn’t hesitate to kill him because killing researchers would just cause a lot of problems for him later.

He needed researchers for him to live a more comfortable life later on.

Fortunately, Azim, who was in front of him, only has a bit of craziness, unlike what was written in the novel, so he doesn’t need to kill him.
