Before Luciel could say something, the girl who was lying on the bed spoke again.

After seeing the girl obediently closing her eyes, Luciel started singing a lullaby that he just made up.

He doesn’t remember any lullaby anymore, so he was singing something he just made up in a soft tone.

While singing the last line, Luciel decisively stabbed the dagger he took out while singing the lullaby into the girl’s heart.

“I hope that your wishes come true.”

After putting the girl at rest forever, Luciel paused a bit and then went out of the glass room.

“You better let others burn this area afterwards,” Luciel said to Treyton, who had been staring at him.

“Of course, all the things here should be burned. So this area will be burned after we get all the things that we need,” Treyton said in agreement.

After Treyton answered, no one spoke any longer, and they just silently moved to the next room.

Fortunately, there are indeed only three research rooms conducting human experiments like what Azim said, so they didn’t see any people in the next room that they opened.

They saw a lot of compartments with different papers on them and also saw a lot of storage devices in it.

They didn’t touch those things with older dates and only skimmed the recent files they had.

Luciel also looked at the recent files and saw that the research center was really focusing on how to acquire superpowers.

They were planning to transfer superpowers from those with superpowers to those that don’t have them.

The third research room that they went into was actually studying whether humans could acquire superpowers via the merging of mutant animals with humans.

Luciel scanned the research that they had done for the past few months and saw that they didn’t find much progress in their research in other areas, so they were focusing on their human experiments.

At the beginning it was obvious that they were also searching for the cause of the sudden coming of the apocalypse, but in the end they gave up.

All the remaining research data afterwards were all about their progress in their human experiments.

“Oh, you have additional things to burn,” Luciel said after putting down the files that he had scanned.

“Yeah, we need to sort these things later and burn all the unnecessary documents and data that they had recorded,” Treyton said while still looking at the file that he was holding.

They couldn’t just bring everything back to the north base and hand them to the research center there.

They had to remove all the data regarding the human experiments that they have and erase them.

It wouldn’t do them any good if a researcher in the north base suddenly became interested in such crooked research because of the data they brought back.
