“Then, don’t worry about it,” Luciel said, and they just continued walking to where they were temporarily living.

Austin obediently went to get cookies in the box and went to get the fruits in the refrigerator.

“Let’s eat,” Luciel said while picking grapes from the food container that Austin put on the table.

“Feel free to eat,” Luciel said again while looking at Camille and Vivian, who were staring at the things on the table.

“My gosh, how long has it been since I last saw such good grapes, apples, and strawberries?

I haven’t eaten such things since a few months ago,” Camille said while still looking at the food container with the prepared fruits.

“Me too, someone was only exchanging vegetables for water, but they weren’t exchanging any fruits at all, so I haven’t eaten such fruits for a long time,” Vivian also said.

“Are you sure we can eat these?” Camille asked.

“Yeah, there’s a lot more of those so you can just eat. No one would suddenly ask for you guys to pay for it.

If you are going to join the team, you can eat such things every day as long as they are available.”

“Wow, then joining the team is already worth it as long as I can eat such things every everyday,” Camille said while happily getting strawberries.

“Yes, even though I’m eating enough because I have water superpowers, being able to enjoy more food is really worth it,” Vivian said while also getting grapes.

Before the apocalypse, eating such fruits was just a very normal thing, but it had become such a luxury that they were even hesitating if they could really eat it or not.

Camille and Vivian could even be said to be living better than others because they had good jobs.

Before they could finish eating their snacks, Treyton and the others came back.

“Welcome back. How is it?” Luciel asked as soon as the others entered.

“Everything went well. Who are these two people with you guys?” Treyton said while looking at Camille and Vivian.

“Oh, he is Camille, and she is Vivian,” Luciel said while pointing at the two.

“I invited them to join the team. Camille is a nurse, and Vivian has water superpowers,” Luciel said with a brief introduction.

“Ok, they could join, but tell me, why did you really invite them to the team? I know you don’t really care much about adding members to the team,” Treyton said while sitting beside him.

“Well, I like them, so I ask them to join,” Luciel said honestly.

“What did you just say?” Treyton said while looking at him coldly.

“I said, I like them, so I invited them to join. I also think it would be more fun to have them around.”

“I see,” Treyton said and nodded in understanding.

Treyton already knew him pretty well, so he obviously understood that his main motivation for inviting the two to the team was because he was expecting something fun later on before considering their abilities.

Afterwards, Treyton and the others began introducing themselves and also let Camille and Vivian introduce themselves.

Then, Yang started asking about their circumstances. Camille and Vivian also readily shared their circumstances because they knew that the others must know something about them as they were joining the team.
