Treyton didn’t mention it, so just like in the novel, they didn’t feel the new force in their body.

Or they might have felt it but just ignored it.

He had been using his powers for the last seven years, so he immediately felt the difference in his body.

However, Treyton and the others were just exposed to it, so it is understandable that they weren’t aware of it.

In the novel, they also only knew that they might have superpowers after one of them accidentally used his power because he ran out of bullets.

“Abilities?” Treyton asked in a puzzled tone.

Luciel could also see that everyone was also curious about what he was talking about.

“Yes, abilities; you guys should have abilities.

Nina, can you give me that flowerpot beside you?” Luciel pointed at the flowerpot beside Nina.

“Here it is, sir,” Nina said while putting the flower on the table in front of him.

“Look,” Luciel said, touching the plant and using his ability to make the flower grow until it bloomed.

“Wow, brother, it’s beautiful!” Ashlee said while looking at the plant that instantly flowered.

The others were also surprised by what they saw; Nathan even began touching the flower to see if it was real.

“Wow, it really grew and bloomed in an instant,” Nathan said after touching it.

“Amazing,” Treyton also said.

“My superpower is related to plants.

You guys should also have abilities of your own,” Luciel said.

All of them woke up at least on the third day, and it was written in the book that most of the people who woke up on the third day already had powers.

“How can we tell if we have superpowers?” Treyton asked.

“You can know if you have abilities if you focus your mind on your body and try to feel if there’s a new force or energy in it.

Nina and Ashlee said that they don’t feel anything after trying it many times, so they apparently don’t have any superpowers.

After feeling it, just think of letting it out so you can see what your powers are,” Luciel said simply.

“How can we tell what new force you are talking about?” Treyton asked again.

“You can tell once you feel it.

If there’s none, then there’s nothing.

Just try doing it yourselves first,” Luciel replied.

It would just take time to explain what new force/energy he was talking about, and he was too lazy to describe and explain it to them so it’s better for them to just to try it themselves.

After trying it themselves, they should be able to describe how the new energy in their body felt like.

Treyton didn’t ask any more questions and just looked at the others and told them to try it.

When he saw them closing their eyes and trying to find the new force in their bodies, he immediately said, “Hey, get away from me.

What if your powers are related to fire?” After his reminder, all of them got away from each other and closed their eyes again to focus.

All of them might have some superpowers, but their initial strengths would be different.

It was written in the novel that those who woke up later than others would be more powerful.

Unfortunately, only a few survived because most of them were in the presence of others, which means that when somebody woke up as a zombie, they would have eaten those that were still unconscious.

Everyone was focusing on their own, and afterwards Nathan laughed as he succeeded in bringing out his abilities.

This was also followed by the others.

Every one of them really has their own abilities.

Treyton was the one who was the latest to manifest his abilities, but when he was able to manifest his powers, everyone was surprised except him.

He already knew that, as the protagonist of the novel he read, Treyton had dual powers.

Everyone was still excited about their powers, but they still sat down after Treyton succeeded in bringing out his powers.

“So, Treyton has dual powers: lightning and metal.

Nichole has plant abilities the same as Luciel.

Calvin has telekinesis.

Yang has water abilities the same as Sam.

Zam has ice superpowers.

Mia and Wes have earth superpowers.

Derek and Nate have wind superpowers.

Jacob has poisoning abilities.

Myla has gravity.

I, Conner, and Liam have fire superpowers,” Nathan summarized.

All of them really have superpowers, as expected of those that were with Treyton.

Some of them have the same superpowers, but most of the time they have different degrees of control and specialization.

“When I knew that I had fire powers, I thought I might finally be stronger than Treyton.

But then I have the same powers with two more people, with just the people with us here, so it means that having fire superpowers is common.

Why could Treyton have two powers?

It even seemed that the powers he had were unique.

This is a bit unfair,” Nathan said.

They all knew that Nathan was just complaining without even actually envying Treyton, so everyone just ignored what he was saying.

“Ok, now that we know everyone has their own powers, we should learn how to use them properly and, of course, find a way to increase our powers,” Treyton said.

As soon as Luciel knew the superpowers of everyone, he didn’t pay attention to them anymore and resumed playing games.

All of them were scattered around the rooftop, and they were all trying to properly control their powers.

Then they all find out that they will be out of energy immediately after using it, and they need to rest for a while before they can use it again.

Of course, Luciel already knew how to properly control his powers and also knew how to increase his power, but he didn’t tell them.

As long as they were imaginative, they could surely learn how to do it.
