Chapter 116: Do You Like Him?
Duan Yixin looked at her friend, who was laughing happily, and said with a helpless smile, “I’m not happy with their enthusiasm at all.”

The three of them discussed for more than twenty minutes and decided to prepare a meat dish, a soup, and three side dishes. As for staple food, Duan Yixin chose steamed white rice.

Chi Xinru and Madam Chi were shocked when they heard this. Madam Chi frowned and said, “Xin Xin, food prices have risen these days. It would be too much if we served steamed white rice at the banquet. It may draw unwanted attention to you. How about we serve noodles instead of steamed white rice?”

Duan Yixin thought about it and said, “Since Aunt said so, then let’s follow your suggestion.”

After the three of them finalized the banquet menu, Madam Chi said, “I will go to town with your uncle tomorrow morning to buy the ingredients so that we can prepare some in advance.”

Duan Yixin nodded and said sincerely, “Thank you, Aunt Wang.”

Madam Chi patted her hands gently and said, “Your mother and I are like sisters. Helping you is what I want to do.”

Duan Yixin stared at her and thought, ‘The original owner is very lucky. It’s a pity that she has poor eyesight and disappointed people who loved her for a man like Tang Zizheng.’

Duan Yixin nodded and said calmly, “You say.”

Chi Xinru looked around for a few seconds, then stared at Duan Yixin and said, “I saw that man. Who is he?”

Duan Yixin tilted her head slightly in confusion and asked, “Who are you talking about?”

Chi Xinru clicked her tongue and said, “That man who was wearing a black mask. I saw him lurking around your house for a few days. Who is he? Where is he now? What is your relationship with him?”

When Duan Yixin thought about it, she realized that the person Chi Xinru was talking about was Liushiliu. She smiled slightly but said nothing.

Chi Xinru’s eyes lit up when she saw Duan Yixin’s expression, and she hurriedly asked, “Who is he?”

Seeing Chi Xinru’s excited expression, Duan Yixin’s smile deepened as she asked, “Why are you asking about him? Do you like him?”

Hearing what she said, Duan Yixin chuckled and said, “You don’t have to worry about this. He is my friend and had already left two days ago.”

Chi Xinru stared at her for a few seconds, then breathed a sigh of relief and said, “That’s good. Xin Xin, you have to be careful with the people you want to date in the future. You must let my elder brother and I know so that we can help you take a look at the man.”

Sensing Chi Xinru’s concern, Duan Yixin nodded and said, “All right. If I find someone I like in the future, I will let you and Elder Brother Xiyou know. You two  can help me find out if he is a good person or not.”

Chi Xinru was very satisfied with her answer and said, “Good. You should go back now. Remember to stay away from bad people.”
