The nanny was surprised but said nothing and kept the letter carefully, “Yes, Wangfei.”

Ye Huiyu looked at the darkening sky and said, “Be careful when you go out. Don’t let anyone know.”

The nanny nodded and said, “Don’t worry, Wangfei. I know what to do.”

After saying that, the nanny left in a hurry. Before leaving Duan Qinwang’s Mansion, the nanny put on a simple black cloak and pulled down the hood. After walking out of the back door, the nanny checked the surroundings for a moment and walked quickly to Dali Si.

Along the way, the nanny did not dare to let down her guard and constantly observed the surrounding situation. When she arrived at Dali Si, the sun had already disappeared into the western horizon. The nanny looked at the soldiers wearing black masks guarding the entrance of Dali Si, and the fear in her heart increased.

The soldier stretched out his hand and said nothing, still staring at the nanny. Seeing that she had no choice but to hand the letter to the soldier, the nanny took out the letter from her sleeve and said, “Duan Qinwangfei wrote this letter.”

After hearing what she said, the soldier’s expression did not change at all. He took the letter from the nanny and asked, “Do you have anything else to do here?”

The nanny shook her head and said, “Nothing more.”

The soldier nodded and said, “Then you should leave.”
